WHAT: There is a huge festival the whole week to let students get school supplies. People from all over are flocking to Diagon Alley for the best deals. That means you might meet new people or see old friends!
STATUS: Ongoing!

[Why he'd ever agreed to help his sister pick out a pet, Dipper had no idea. The shop was huge! And typically he'd lost Mabel the second they'd entered. Great. Just great. Dipper gave a sigh before moving on from the huge purple toads, jamming his hands into his pockets as he moved around the store.]

[Oh no, you didn't lose her, here comes Mabel yelling her brother's name as she weaves around people.]

Dipperrrr!!! Dipper!! I found the perfect pet!! C'mon, you gotta see it!!

[Oops, sorry, did you want to stand and talk? Nooo, she's grabbing your hand and pulling you back in the direction she came from.]

[It's probably a good thing he's used to being yanked around in different directions by Mabel, but that doesn't stop him from stumbling after her when she starts yanking him towards whatever it is she's found.]

Mabel, slow down! It's still gonna be there when we get back to it.

[Lovino was taking a break from his school shopping. He had finally managed to escape all three of his siblings and was currently sitting at one of the cafes. He was waiting for his food and slyly glancing at some of the pretty girls walking down the street.]

[There is a very large man with a very small gently purring blue puffskein nestled between his neck and shoulder. It's not actually his, but his son is off doing studenty things so he got stuck with it.

It may or may not be using its long puffskein tongue to probe your ears or nose while he isn't looking. Sorry. Zoing isn't very well-behaved. Say something, y/n?]

[Oohh no, no no, you cannot get away from her. ]

It might not be there, though! Because it's the best pet ever and I know that tons of people would totally want it if they knew how awesome it was!

[Oh... Oh yep. Dipper should have seen this coming a mile away, because look at all of these cats, but she's trying to refind it.

[Oh dear. Yep. This was what he was afraid of. He chewed his bottom lip a bit as Mabel searched for whatever cat she was trying to find, looking at her out the corner of his eye.]

Do you have to get a magical cat? Can't it just be a cat from any other pet store? You know - normal, Muggle cats?

He's not actually mine, but Gil seems to have disappeared.

[Zoing coos in agreement and sticks his tongue out.]

And puffskeins are scavengers. An excellent way to get rid of leftovers, actually.

I'd say more like badly behaved. Gil indulges him far too much.

[He gently but firmly pokes the puffskein on the... head? Body? Puffskeins are kind of amorphous blobs, who the hell knows. Either way, it withdraws its tongue with a hurt sort of chirr.]

So, Ognian. How is everyone in Mechanicsburg?

[Arthur should never be left in a bookshop by himself. He's in Flourish and Blotts, and from the look of the number of books he's carrying around he's been in there for quite a while.

It looks as if he's there alone. His family doesn't seem to be about, at least. Have at it!]

[Doop doop doop, she searches for a tiny bit more, then oh my god shes turning around and looking over the biggest cat she could find]

[Dipper eyes the cat a little warily, like it has magical cooties or something. He reaches up to scratch the back of his head before shrugging.]

I dunno, Mabel. Do you really think Grunkle Stan would even let you have a cat as big as that in the house?

Dey is doink goot! Vole helped me fight a bear, but it bit my broom in half und Hy has to get new vun, und Phila broke my nose earlier dis summer but dat iz all healed now, und dat vun cousin say she curse me if Hy am goink in her garden again, und her brudders broke each odder's arms--ve tink dey vas on strengt potions, und Hy didn't get to see Miz Agatha dis year but Hy tinks she iz goot too.

I'm sure he would. It's not like there's not enough room for him, and nothing could happen while he's there.

[She leans forward, looking from the cat to Dipper and back and forth, then whispers as if it's the most important thing ever.]

He's too perfect for him to not let me keep him.

[Dipper you're going to have to REALLY try to get her to think otherwise, oh goodness.]

[Being stuck with his family all day every day is about to drive Lovino mad. He's not quite sure how much longer he can hold out even though school is only a few days away.

However Lovi forgets he is horrible at avoiding Chiara of all people and practically leaps ten feet into the air when she spots him.]

Cristo! Chiara, did you have to scare me like that?! I was just taking a break, we've been walking all day long!

Somehow I doubt Grunkle Stan will see his...charm like you do, Mabel.

[Was it even a boy cat? No, wait, Dipper didn't want to know how she knew.]

Well...I guess he looks like the lazy sort. Maybe he won't cause too much trouble.

[Cimorene is taking a break in her school shopping for some delicious ice cream. It's not as good as her home-made chocolate mousse, but it'll do.

[With a nod, she shifts the cat in her arms. He's pretty big but she doesn't want to just drop him or anything, someone might think shes not going to choose him!! The cat just yawns. Gosh, he really is lazy.]
