WHERE: Any and all of Diagon Alley
WHAT: There is a huge festival the whole week to let students get school supplies. People from all over are flocking to Diagon Alley for the best deals. That means you might meet new people or see old friends!
STATUS: Ongoing!
NOTE: Remember that this event is semi-open! Any HP AU character can have fun here, whether you're in the game or not, so have fun! If you missed the rush for the first log, here's a second chance to have fun, and start some of that September plotting!

[Screw school supplies, Georgia is poking around the joke store. They had a ton of gag items that were a laugh. Maybe she could buy a biting teacup and try her legendary, "Oh Vati, I know how much you enjoy tea time, won't you have a sip?"]

[Baljeet was really only in the joke shop because he wanted to visit every store. You never knew what you'd find, right? And fine, maybe there was some intent to fight back against bullies with dummy text books that would spray ink in their faces, or something.

He was actually finding it pretty cool; getting drawn in by the wet-start, no-heat fireworks. Being a muggleborn, he still tended to think scientifically, even now that he'd be entering his fourth year.

Regardless, he spotted and recognized the older student as he put the case of fireworks down, and offered a wave.]

[Tormenting muggle parents is never a bad thing, in Eriq's opinion. He's rather fond of switch regular soap for Frog Spawn soap. They don't really appreciate it.]

[However, the main reason he's allowing himself to be seen in a joke shop is that his chess set has wandered off again. He can't figure out where they keep disappearing to. It is a mystery. And now that he has his replacement set, he really should leave]

[But nope, just going to hover awkwardly next to Georgia, pretending to be terribly interested in the tea cups while watching her out of the corner of his eyes.]
