Back to School Diagon Alley Festival! – Log 1

WHO: Anyone visiting Diagon Alley!
TONE: Festive and busy!

WHERE: Any and all of Diagon Alley
WHAT: There is a huge festival the whole week to let students get school supplies. People from all over are flocking to Diagon Alley for the best deals. That means you might meet new people or see old friends!
STATUS: Ongoing!
NOTE: Remember that this event is semi-open! Any HP AU character can have fun here, whether you're in the game or not, so have fun!

Of course I'm going to alter it. It needs to fly properly after all.

[He raises an eyebrow at her]

This is my face not being not even surprised that you know I was thinking of trying out for the team this year. How do you even know? Also, don't you think lighting up my broom is just a bit much?

I think you're ability is 50% of it flying properly.

[She just fluffs her curls, they are full of secrets.]

I pay attention, especially to anyone who would be trying out for the same team I'm trying out for. I need to know that I'll be on a competent team. You're Tony Stark, I expect it to be just a bit much.

I'd like to think my flying properly is better than just 50%.

[All of the secrets]

Competent team, huh. So then we're happy I'm trying out, or not? Well, all my other brooms had they're own style. This one wont be any different to them.

I can't judge you fully, I'm not the same year so I never saw how you did in flying class.

I'm intrigued. If we both make it, then it wouldn't be boring, that's for sure. How many brooms do you own?

Somehow I'm hurt that no one has ever felt the need to speak in awed tones about my skill on a broom.

That I still can fly? maybe four. In total, probably about six. I'm in the market for number seven though.

[Looks back in the window]

But I don't know if I'm happy enough with anything here. And I really can't wait till I'm old enough to make my own.

You need a better public relations person, you're going in to sixth year and I'm not hearing enough gossip.

Seven? I'm only on my first broom this year. You should see if some foreign broom company has anything.

Well, people only gossip about me when there's something worth gossiping about. My being good at something isn't really something everyone is going to care, or be surprised about.

I've had a broom ever since I was four, and I'm one of those rich kids everyone hates, so yeah.

You should start being bad at something. I bet some girl will say that you're a horrible snog.

Sure, I need a repair kit anyways. I can't tryout for the team with a shabby looking broom.

[Tony gives her a look before opening the door to the store for her]

Hey, I've never heard a single complaint for the record.

You shouldn't have a shabby broom anyway.

I doubt anyone would actually say it to your face.

[Such a gentleman, she walks in ahead of him.]

It's not exactly shabby, It just needs a good cleaning. I've only had it for a year so it's holding up well.

I can't see how something as tiny as you could do enough damage to a broom that you kill it in a year.

[He comes in behind her and glances around seeing what's there]

I've flown through a few storms and my father decided to see if it would actually sweep. He said it should be like the broom that mouse made carry water.

[Starts looking through the Quidditch equipment.]

[Tony stares at her for a second.]

That the mouse ma- ... This is some Muggle... Wait, Macky right?

[While he had some interest in the muggle world, he wasn't all that up to date on the world of Disney]

It's Mickey Mouse. He enchanted a broom to carry water for him but it backfired and he tried chopping up the broom and all the splinters became other brooms.

They should show that to first years so they don't try any silly spells they can't control.

Somehow, I don't think an animated rodent is going to inspire a bunch of potentially over powered pre-teens from doing something stupid like that.

Really that's experience talking.

[He leans in to inspect some of the brooms.]
