And you believed it?

Yeah man, it literally ate that shit up. I doubt it actually caught the hawk but it had no problems chowing down on it. I wonder if that could be considered cannibalism?
no subject
I'm not sure, because that's a goddamn normal thing. At least, with the hawks eating smaller birds. D'you know what kind of owl it was?
no subject
I dunno..it was a baby one so it was all fuzzy and stuff so you really couldn't tell. It was a pretty big baby though.
[He leans down and attempts to peer inside the shop. No way could he go inside, the animals would probably go nuts.]
I think there's a Great Horned owl inside..I think they get pretty big too..

[And now he's picturing a baby owl ravenously devouring a hawk. Euugghh...
He looks over at Marshall, doing his level best to make his cringe look like a noncommittal shrug.]
But a baby owl couldn't... I bet the hawk was already dead. Or injured... How big was the hawk?

[Well, now that everyone is uncomfortable...Subject change!]
You really couldn't tell..it looked like..well, like a mess of feathers. But the mess looked close to the size of the baby.
Weirdest shit was that the baby was on ground. I thought maybe it fell out of the nest so it's Mom decided to just feed it there.

[He's a bit distracted, looking over these owls. THERE'S JUST SO MANY TO CHOOSE FROM. And then he sees it. The most perfect owl. According to the sign beneath the cage, it's a Lapland Owl, and it's huge. He guesses it's about thirty inches, because come on, what is even the metric system!]
I'm gonna get this one.

[He leans over, examining the owl in question. That's... A very big owl. Probably around 75 centimeters, if he were to hazard a guess.]
A Lapland owl? It's probably Swedish.

That's a big ass owl. One that size would be pretty good for delivering and getting packages and stuff.

Unless it impaled the hawk midflight or something. If snakes can eat gators, why not.
Yeah. It looks fuckin' badass. It could probably eat a small cat, damn.
