WHAT: There is a huge festival the whole week to let students get school supplies. People from all over are flocking to Diagon Alley for the best deals. That means you might meet new people or see old friends!

Ve~ cuuute~! [Don't mind the Hufflepuff 5th year pressing her face against the window of Eeylops Owl Emporium and making a fool of herself with awful imitations of hooting noises. If she looks all the more like a fool for bouncing around on the spot and squealing about the cuteness of the various animals when she isn't too busy hooting, well that is to be expected from Felicia.]

[Hey, it's one of the sixth years.]

Dey iz niz owls, yah?

[She blinks at him, then makes another hooting noise. Best owl imitator ever, thank you very much.]

[Orly? She might just have some competition there. He hoots back at her with roughly the same level--or lack--of skill.]

She watches him in surprise for a moment before she starts laughing.]

You're funny!

[He joins in the laughter.]

Vhy, danke! Und who iz hyu, pretty lady? Hy'm Oggie.

Ciao Oggie! I'm Felicia! [She winks at him and breaks out into giggles.]

No... I can't have one, I already have a kitty. But I want an owl, too, they're cute!

Yah, owls iz useful too. But it vould be sad to get a pet und not be able to take it mit hyu! My sister has a pet she ken't take mit her, und it is alvays sad.

Does hyu kitty haf a name?

Felpato! He's a cute tabby cat and he likes to cuddle with me. He sleeps in my bed, too - but don't tell anyone, I told my sister he doesn't!

[She tilts her head to the side.] What pet does your sister have?

Aw. He sounds like a niz kitty. Dun vorry! Hy von't tell. [He makes a zippering motion across his lips that she might not understand, being a pureblood.]

[His face lights up.] A bear! His name iz Fust.

A bear! [She breathes the word in awe, her eyes are wide and shine with wonder.]

Ve~! Bears are so cute and fuzzy and I would love to cuddle a baby bear!

...[This fifth year Ravenclaw amused and raising her eyebrow] ...Felicia what are you doing? You know you can go in right?

[pizzaitaliana]

But I can't! [There is a distinct whine to her voice, it goes well with the melodramatic pained expression.] I'm not supposed to go inside on my own, I spend all my money on pets if I do!

[Little laugh] Ah well, I'm sure you can fufill your need for cute things from out here.

I think I can!

[She grins.]

When I'm grown up I want to have a pet shop!

[Giggles] I could see you with a pet shop.

[pizzaitaliana]

But I would keep all the pets for myself. I couldn't bring myself to give any away.

I fear, Felicia, that that defeats the point. [She grins] I could see you owning a restaurant maybe. One of the quirky ones with a resident cat or dog or something.

[pizzaitaliana]

A resident cat and a resident dog! And pizza and pasta and yummy chocolate gelato!

[She beams at Madeline.]

Would you be my first guest?

For your pizza? Of course. Just keep the animals out of the kitchen.

But I have my cat in the kitchen when I cook!

Yes but your customers might not appreciate it.

But they wouldn't have to know! And my cat is real well-behaved, too!
