WHAT: There is a huge festival the whole week to let students get school supplies. People from all over are flocking to Diagon Alley for the best deals. That means you might meet new people or see old friends!
STATUS: Ongoing!
NOTE: Remember that this event is semi-open! Any HP AU character can have fun here, whether you're in the game or not, so have fun!

I am considering it... I am not certain if it is the best choice. Do you have a pet?

I have a kitten, but I wouldn't let that keep you from getting a rat if you want it. Orangina gets along with Sprite, sort of, and he's an owl.

...Only sort of? So it still tries to eat the owl?

She tries, but she's just a baby so she doesn't know better. Sprite is smart enough to stay out of her reach, though.

I do not think rats have the advantage of flight.

No, I guess not. But I guess it won't matter if we're not in the same house. But then there's all the other cats too.

If you get a rat, you might want to check if any of your roommates have cats. You wouldn't want your pet to get eaten, after all.

Not many do. But, if your rat is smart enough it'll know where to hide.

[She offers him a smile, shrugging her shoulders.]

I have more experience with owls and spiders, personally.

You can teach it. Or have it charmed to have a stronger survival instinct.
