WHAT: There is a huge festival the whole week to let students get school supplies. People from all over are flocking to Diagon Alley for the best deals. That means you might meet new people or see old friends!
STATUS: Ongoing!

Well I was gonna just window shop but I mentioned to my parents that I needed a new broom for Quidditch this year.

They gave me enough for a Comet but...I wonder if I could earn some extra.

Oh! Sometimes I offer to put up posters around Glasgow or do the mail run or clean up junk for people. My absolute favourite thing to do is Grandstand though.

[After a moment he smacks his forehead.]

Duh. I should just cash my Struggle winnings in at Gringotts and exchange Muggle money for galleons!

Vhat is Grandstand?

It's a game where you're supposed to keep the ball in the air for long periods of time. We do it to entertain crowds over summer.

Well yeah, obviously, but keeping it in the air is the key point.

Do hyu play on brooms? Hy haf neffer heard of dis game before. How does it vork?

It's a Muggle game. You use a bat, kind of like the ones Beaters use in Quidditch, and you scoop the ball up into the air and keep hitting it until you lose stamina or miss.

Oh! Dat sounds interestink! Iz test of stamina. Very niz. Mebbe ve ken try it sometime at school, yah?
