WHAT: There is a huge festival the whole week to let students get school supplies. People from all over are flocking to Diagon Alley for the best deals. That means you might meet new people or see old friends!
STATUS: Ongoing!
NOTE: Remember that this event is semi-open! Any HP AU character can have fun here, whether you're in the game or not, so have fun!

[ It looks like... well, he wouldn't look like a baby teacher to you, not really. But this is sixteen-year-old Thobari. He's happy and cheery and awkward and nerdy and holding a stack of books that is teetering dangerously out of hands. ]

[ Good thing his grandfather's nearby, ready to help him carry all that stuff. Or he will be, once he finishes buying whatever terrible joke things that he's going to sneak into his grandson's suitcase. ]

[ Yeah, Thobari's still a loser, even as a kid. Hope he doesn't bump into anyone on his way out... ]

[Even that stack of books can't hide you from Yukimi. He walks by and claps Thobari on the shoulder.] Heeey, Tobi. 'S good to see you.

Wha--? [ That was close though, Thobari is just gonna... put a couple of these down. ] Hey, come on! Be careful!

[ Grumblrgrumble. ] What are you doing here, Yukimi?

He's obviously here being a jerk. [Maron picks up the books Thobari puts down.]

I go to school too, ya know? Can't exactly go to school without books and supplies. [He takes one of the books from Tobi's stack of death.] What're you gettin' so many books for? Did the required list change?

It's supplementary reading. [ aka: the stuff only nerds read. ] If you spent any of your free time studying, instead of just playing Quidditch, you'd realize that some of our professors actually assign other stuff, too.

I do the required assignments. That's good enough for me.

[Dumps the books she's holing in to Yukimi's arms.]

Well some of us like to go above and beyond what's required.
