WHAT: There is a huge festival the whole week to let students get school supplies. People from all over are flocking to Diagon Alley for the best deals. That means you might meet new people or see old friends!

[Cinnamon ice cream! You monster. She scoots her chair toward the other side of her little table, making that awful noise chairs make when you scoot them.]

[Miria creeps into the ice cream parlour, quickly glancing around to make sure nobody saw her come in. She's supposed to be shopping for books, but that can wait! After all, you can't shop on an empty stomach. Everyone knows that!

Spotting Amelia, she makes her way over with tremendous stealth and leans over to whisper into the other girl's ear]

Which flavor are you getting?

[Amelia jumps and lets out a little yelp of surprise, laughing breathlessly when she turns and sees who it is.]

Miria! You scared the heck out of me! I was thinking rocky road!

[She turns towards the parlour's menu, taking the time to read over each flavor very seriously. She then turns back to flash an enormous grin in Amelia's direction. ]

Let's get all of them!

Oh my gosh, you are a genius!

Well, if you can't choose between ice cream, the only real choice is to choose everything! Right?

Now which flavours should go on the top?

We should put the most flavorful flavors on top, so they can all trickle down to the vanilla and stuff.

[With that, she stares deep into Amelia's eyes because ice cream is serious business]

Amelia... I think you may have been the genius all along!

[So guess who's back after spending his sixth year in America, hanging out with Keith and going to the Salem institute? This boy right here. He decided to come back for his 7th year because he missed everyone and all that jazz. This Diagon Alley fair is going to be his first time seeing a lot of people in so long!

But of course the first familiar face he sees would be Amelia. That... isn't awkward at all. Nope, sure ain't.

Okay it's very awkward. Not that he isn't happy to see her, but considering. Things. It's just a little bit difficult for him. He hasn't had a girlfriend since then, after all. He's starting to wish he'd gone to the book store first, rather than the ice cream parlour.

Hah, yeah. Classes suck, don't they? Man, the ones at the Salem school were so much more boring than Hogwarts, though.
