WHAT: There is a huge festival the whole week to let students get school supplies. People from all over are flocking to Diagon Alley for the best deals. That means you might meet new people or see old friends!
STATUS: Ongoing!
NOTE: Remember that this event is semi-open! Any HP AU character can have fun here, whether you're in the game or not, so have fun!

[Baljeet is looking over the rats very intently; the fourth year has heard the rats sold here have above-average intelligence. That's impressive, certainly, and having a pet would be nice...]

In the stationary shop

[Look at those pretty quills and brushes!! Too bad they're all up on the top shelf, out of the reach of this petite firsty. She hasn't given up trying as she stretches her hand upwards as much as she can, but she's still nowhere near the top shelf. Frustrated, she did a little hop, and then a second, in hopes that the extra boost will be enough.

All Ib gets for her troubles is thin air. She pulls a face, but keeps on trying.]

[Rapunzel may not notice her, but Ib's definitely noticed the older girl. Quietly, while her parents were still oo-ing and aa-ing at some of the displays, she took out her notepad and started to draw her. She was really pretty, and she would look good in a portrait.]

[Of course he's outside of Fortescue's. It makes Rapunzel giggle as she rushes over, happy to see the boy.]

[Still looking for a treat for Nii-chan, Shiemi browses the shelves for something that might catch her eye. She sticks out a little in her kimono, but she doesn't seem to notice. Nii-chan just sits in between the folds of her kimono, happy as a clam.

She's so busy looking at everything she doesn't see where's she's going when she absentmindedly turns a corner. Whoops?]

[With her new Quidditch supplies in hand (and every other necessary school things), Applejack is taking the chance to look around Diagon Alley while Big Mac takes Apple Bloom to get ice cream, tilting her cowboy hat and familiarizing herself with the street after spending most of the summer in the USA.]

[Loki is derping around Diagon Alley, being generally cute/mischievous/inquisitive. He loves meeting new people, so talk to him.

Some may notice he is staying VERY far away from the entrance to Knockturn Alley, eyeing it warily whenever he is forced to pass it.]

[It takes Rapunzel a moment, but it's hard not to notice the feeling of eyes watching you. She turns and smiles awkwardly at the young girl.]

[Eeek! Caught in the act! Ib blushes and was about to quickly put her notepad away and apologize when she hears the magical word: "drawing". She nods; yes she was.]

[Rapunzel gasps and stumbles back a bit, then catches herself. She looks around and-- Ooh, what a lovely.... Different sort of clothing! She has no idea.]

[Of course he is. Where else would he be? You're looking at Hogwart's biggest ice cream eater. He grins, shoving his hands into his pockets.]
