WHO: Constance and Feferi Peixes, Murdoc Donoghue, and Eridan Ampora
TONE: Completely tense with a large side of awkward, with some drama, too.
RATING: PG to PG-13, for the most part, aside from cursing
WHEN: August 1st (any time after camp that doesn't clash with other plans)
WHERE: the Peixes residence
WHAT: This isn't exactly a family reunion. Except, well, there are half-siblings meeting for the first time and kids meeting parents for the first time. Yeah.
STATUS: Ongoing.
It wasn't like Constance to pace, but she had been doing so for the last half an hour or so. The house was immaculate, and the house-elves were going to have a perfect meal ready. That wasn't the problem. Part of it was that one of her girls had blown up in her face, and nothing in the world had been able to calm her down. Constance hadn't expected her to react well, but to refuse to be there tonight? She hadn't expected that.
At least she had her Feferi here. Her sweet girl, her dependable one. It was, perhaps, wrong to put so much pressure on her daughter, but Constance knew Feferi would have a smile on her face and a kind word for all of them. It was just her way.
The elder Peixes sighed, checking the clock again. Almost time. For all that she said she wouldn't, she stepped to her liquor cabinet, eyeing the bottles. To pour herself a drink or not? She wasn't sure.

"Mother?"
She can see how nervous she is, knows she needs to reassure her. She already at her side within moments on entering the room and giving her a hug.
"It's going to be fine, ok!! I promise you! Just stop worrying!!"
She giggles and hides her face in the folds of her mother's robes and knowing that any moment doorbell would go off.

Once he had nitpicked himself, he proceeded to fuss over Eridan. He'd re-tied his tie several times before realising the time and leaving for Constance's home.
He hesitates before knocking, side eyeing Eridan before reaching over to smooth down more of his obnoxiously waved hair and throwing him a pained sort of smile. Finally, he draws in a breath and knocks slowly.

Actually, his first impression was probably the scariest thing that he had to make right. This entire meet was really stressing him out, but damn it all if he wasn't going to be brave for it. Eventually he'd settle on something that even his father would approve of without being too over the top.
And then they'd be off?!? Oh no.
Whenever they would make it to their home, Eridan was trying his hardest to look as calm as he could. Whenever his father decided to fuss over his hair one last time, it helped ease his mind for the moment, too preoccupied with fixing his hair again because in his mind it was perfect. However, the smile sort of helps in a way, looking up at his father, he reaches up to pat his arm. He's just also trying to show that he's also as terribly nervous and that it'll be alright? Who knows. As soon as he hears the knocking, he stops and stands at attention. This was the moment of truth.

I know. I'm just a bit nervous. Now, remember, I'm telling them that Meenah's at --
[She doesn't get to finish her sentence before the door rings. Constance smooths out the hair she ruffled, smiling one more time. She takes a long, deep breath, then opens the door as if nothing in the world was wrong.]
Good evening, gentlemen. I trust the trip over wasn't any trouble?
[She steps aside, gesturing for them to come in.]
I should apologize in advance; my daughter Meenah won't be joining us tonight. She wasn't feeling well, and so my mother's looking after her.
[Constance smiles, gesturing Feferi forward.]
This is Feferi. Introduce yourself, darling.
hahahaha ;;;;;; i am so sorry guys ;A;
Hey! I'm Feferi! Ehhhh, It's nice to finally get to meet the both of you!!
[She doesn't really know what else to say or do, it feel awkward enough and doesn't think that talking about her love for fish and her favourite colour isn't going to help. But she gives them the biggest smile that she can and hope she is doing alright.]
The House elves are preparing a meal at the moment, so it will be ready soon! But while we wait, i guess we could chat or have some tea or coffee...
