TONE: Fooooood fiiiiiiiiight! And then shit goes down.
RATING: PG to account for cussing and fighting
WHEN: Saturday
WHERE: Mess hall
WHAT: People get testy and things start going south
STATUS: ONGOING

So, you may have noticed that some people have been getting moody lately. Like everything is pissing them off, and they can very well turn on you. Well, the truth is, these woods have held more than animals and trees, and plants, and fruits, and regular woodsy stuff. An old, dark presence has lurked in the darkness, waiting for young, easily influenced minds to corrupt. To slowly take over their bodies and turn them into vessels for their agenda.

Today is the day when those corrupted reach their breaking point. No more mr nice guy. What triggers it is unknown; it may have been a simple misdirected joke, a playful shove, an unwelcome touch... All that is known is that suddenly, food is being flung at the poor sap that was just being his usual self. Suddenly, someone yells out "Food fight!" and everyone follows their example, food flying in all directions.

But the fun won't last forever. At some point, one of the corrupted will pull their wand, and things are going to get serious.

Better watch your back...

[By the end of the week Loki has had it. This was not fun, in fact he just wants to leave.

Or hex someone. He shouldn't know any spells yet, but he's a quick study.

So when a large glob of mash potato hits him in the back of the head his immediate response is to whip out his wand and fire off a Jelly Legs Jinx.]

[brothor]

[Thor is trying so very hard to be good. Originally he was telling people to stop wasting food because it is delicious, now he's launching carrots like missiles across the room.

That is until he glances over to see his brother with his wand out.]

Brother! Never bring a wand to a food fight!

I'll do as I please, Thor!

[He fires another curse into the crowd]

[brothor]

[Thor grunts, not liking that reaction at all. However, he's come to expect that short tempered attitude from his brother these past few days, he supposed camp was just not his thing and he wanted to go home, but this is serious!

He grabs his brother's wand holding wrist and tugs him closer.]

Stop that!

[thesmallesttrickster]

No! You can't tell me what to do!

[Loki tries to jerk his hand away, but Thor is still older and much stronger than he.]

[brothor]

I can and I am! [He's going to jerk right back.] What is wrong with you, brother! This is no way to behave among friends!

I'm assuming this is in angry norse shouting.

Stop trying to control me! You're not even my real brother!

[brothor]

[Okay that. hurt. He's going to look visibly shattered for a second there before covering it up with an annoyed expression. Obviously he didn't mean that, he was just saying it in anger. The real issue is, why is he angry?]

I am your real brother, Loki. And you are mine.

[thesmallesttrickster]

No you're not! I'm not an Odinson, and I never want to be!

[Loki tried to jerk his hand away again.]

Just leave me alone!

[brothor]

Whether you are an Odinson or a Laufeyson, you will ALWAYS be my brother. I cannot BELIEVE you do not understand that!

[Thor does let his wrist go, only to grab his shoulders and give him a shake.]

I will leave you alone when you tell me why you are acting this way!

I've just had it with everyone's foolishness! Unhand me!

[He wiggles under Thor's hands]

[brothor]

No! [He leans down, trying to meet Loki's eyes.] You are the one being foolish right now, brother. You need to calm down!

[thesmallesttrickster]

No! [And Loki raises his wand and hits Thor with a stunner. When free from his brother's grasp he runs outside. Partially because of the escalating food fight, and partially because he realizes that he just stunned Thor.]

[brothor]

[Thor stumbles and freezes, giving Loki a hurt, surprised look as he runs away. It takes a moment to unstun, but it happens and he wobbily jogs out the door after the younger boy.]

Loki? Loki! Come back!!

[thesmallesttrickster]

[Loki is crouched the the side of the dining hall, trying his best to make himself very small and unnoticable.

The slight sniffling might give him away, though.]

[brothor]

[Thor can hear his brother crying from a mile away. It's a brotherly sixth sense of his.

He creeps closer, trying to keep his voice soft and calm.]

Loki. I will not be angry if you say sorry now.

[thesmallesttrickster]

No! Go away!

[His voice cracks. He is scared, partially because of everything that was going on, but mostly because he just cursed his brother and didn't feel at all sorry.]

[brothor]

I would be crazy to leave you alone, brother! Come along, we can talk about it.

[thesmallesttrickster]

I do not wish to talk, Thor! Leave me alone!

[But he doesn't want to be alone. If he's alone he might get angrier, but if someone's there he might still get angrier and hurt them, hurt Thor. His feelings are all jumbled and he's angry but sad and confused and more than anything scared.]

[brothor]

I do not care if you wish to talk, we need to talk! Listen to your brother, Loki. I only want to take care of you!

[thesmallesttrickster]

We do not need to do anything. You are not even my real brother!

[That hurt him to say. Why did he say it? Thor is his brother, he knows that...]

[brothor]

I am as real of a brother as can be and you WILL respect me! Come out of there right now!

[Loki reluctantly crawls out. He folds his arms and glares at Thor]

What now, Thor?

[brothor]

[Thor is folding his own arms right back, standing up straight.]

You will apologise.

[thesmallesttrickster]

I will not.

[Loki mirrors him in stance. It is a bit less effective in an 11 year old though]
