Yay camp!
WHO: Everyone going to camp
TONE: Yay camp!
RATING: PG to account for swearing
WHEN: 22 to 23 July
WHERE: All over camp
WHAT: First two days of camp! Time to get settled in and explore what's around.
STATUS: ONGOING
The camp isn't too different from any other camp. Cabins where people will stay, a space for a bonfire, a nearby lake for everyone to swim in, and of course, a thick morning mist all around the camp, because it's pretty early in the morning.
Still! There's stuff to do already. Those beds won't assign themselves, nor will those bags unpack themselves. Like it's just been said, there's no marked beds, so it's up to each and every one of you to work out the sleeping arrangements yourselves.
But once you're done, you're free to roam around, take a swim, climb a tree, explore the woods, and other assorted camp activities you do when you have free time.
Have fun kids!

...
ACTUALLY! Your cousin dared me to do something to you. I really oughta, since we're here together.]
[Here, have a smarmy Alfredsmirk. You can bat his hands away all you like, bro. But he's still going to mess with you. And he DID get dared...double-dog dared, even!]
no subject
[Oh he's straightened up now, shoulders back. If you touch him he's going to punch you]
no subject
[He crosses his arms, pouting.]
Why're you so difficult? I'll lose man-points if I don't, you know how it is!

[He turns away, making as if he's going to leave...except lolnope, he's not. Instead he whirls back around after a few seconds and reaches out to touch Arthur's right eyebrow. BAM! He's quick to jump back to avoid injury too, or at least try.]
See, look! Now I did my dare, and you're not hurt. We both win! And...it does feel like a little caterpillar. Huh.

Why do you always have to be touching me? For god's sake, Alfred, can't you leave me alone for five bloody minutes!? You're worse than my brothers!
no subject
[He insisted on the latter point again, then crossed his arms and let out a loud huff.]
And anyway I'm not always touching you, asshole. Makin' me sound like a molestor or somethin'...

[Turning to his bag, he yanks a few things out of it irritably]
My cousin is a moron whose brain is in her tits. You'd be better not listening to a damn thing she says, especially when she tells you to do something that you know damn well will piss me off. I am not above turning you upside down and hanging you in a tree, even if I do get into trouble for it.
[Screw what he said before. He doesn't care right now]

[Alfred finds himself a wall and just headbangs it one good time.]
This isn't how I wanted to spend the summer with you!
...Spend it. I mean. Not that I came here to spend the summer with you, that'd be dumb! We hate each other, don't we?

[He'd been speaking over the other boy, and having found his wand in his bag, was pointing it at him, but what he makes that verbal blunder Arthur falters and lowers his arm, looking confused and entirely suspicious all at once]
I don't know. Do you hate me?
no subject
[Alfred's just going to throw his stuff onto the top bunk now, and jump up there.]
Stop pointing your wand around, idiot. You tryin' to get in trouble? We just got here. Don't you have things to do?
[By the way Arthur, this is why he had to do the dare. He's a shitty liar and rambles when he's nervous. Amelia would know. Kind of like you probably know something's up now. Oops.]
no subject
[Still, he shoves his wand into the pocket of his jacket and scowls]
Yeah. Sure. I have things to do. Don't make too much of an arse of yourself while I'm not around.
[Arthur turns away and moves to head out of the cabin]

[He shuffles awkwardly up there, making the bed springs creak.]
Man just go away already, I'll be fine. What are you, my mother? Ugh, jeez.
[Stop projecting, Jones.]
