WHAT: Tony is taking his collection of misfits to New York.

[It's that time of year again when Tony packs up and goes to New York for a week or two. But this year is different. This year he's actually decided that not only does he have friends, but he likes them enough to invite them to his second home in his Upper East Side penthouse apartment.

He plans to make sure everyone has a good time and hope that it doesn't turn out to be the worst week of his life.]

The Runway of Heathrow Airport.

[Tony for once, isn't messing around and deliberately holding up the plane to make peoples lives difficult.

In a weird show of responsibility, Tony arranged for cars to pick up and bring his friends straight to the tarmac, out front of his father's companies private Boeing 737.

In side the jet, it looks more like a comfortable lounge area than it does an actual plane, with three attractive flight attendants who will attend to everyone's needs. Jarvis is in the plane, making sure everything is prepared.

Tony leans against the travel stairs leading up to the plane, waiting for the others to arrive.]

[Thor feels pretty awkward through most of the ride. As much self aware awkwardness as he's capable of, anyway. Still, he manages to grin at Tony as he steps out of the car and he strides over to offer him a hand to shake.

Oh. You may also notice Bruce is thrown over his shoulder. He had seemed alright when he got in the car, but he gradually seemed less keen on the idea of getting OUT of the car. Thor, being the great friend he is, gave him a helping hand.]

I brought you a present.

[Just as Tony goes to give Thor a greeting nod, he can't help but just stare stoically at his designer Bruce shoulder bag.]

Looks a bit big for me to take on the plan. Maybe we should stick it in baggage and I'll open it up when we get to the Penthouse...

[He grins, unable to not find Bruce's predicament funny.]

[Has long since given up on fighting since customs, BUT NOW-!

Flails, nearly kicking Tony in the face as he kicks.]

Thor, let me down right now! You can't make me get on that damn death trap!!!

If this is the plane, I'm wondering what your place in New York is like.

[Okay, Natasha was impressed, but she's trying not to let it show.]

[Tony chuckles]

It's bigger, with better decorations.

But then the penthouse doesn't have flight attendants that make a fantastic ice cream sundae.

I'm sure there will be something to make up for it.

[Have a Steve, not looking at all baffled at the airport or the plane. He has a small bag, and he fidgets with the straps.]

You have your own plane.

[Note that he does not sound impressed.]

[He does in fact notice how unimpressed he sounds]

Technically, the plane belongs to the company my father started.

[He gestures to the rear or the plan with it's Stark Industries logo on the rear of the fuselage]

It actually works out cheaper and more conveniently for us to use it, instead of flaying first class and having to shuffle through customs for hours.

[He's really just uncomfortable because being around such extravagant uses of money, and it shows. He holds onto his bag tightly, nervous and bluh this is a poor start.]

Is this the only one?

Upper East Side Penthouse

[The penthouse is 4 bed room, 3 of the rooms are prepared for guests. One of the rooms has been set aside for just Natasha, but whether she uses it or not is her choice. The fourth room is Jarvis' and off limits to all, even Tony.

The place is very open and has an almost art gallery feel to it. Beautiful, but not really lived in.

He has several gaming consoles with games and has a fully stocked kitchen. And a ping pong table.]

[Girls be damned, Thor is going to hang around in his boxers anyway. He's raided the kitchens and is staring at the gaming consoles in wonderment. He's eating poptarts straight of the packet and seems to have fashioned himself a pillow fort. How you address him when you enter determines whether you are offered a poptart or a pillow to the face.]

[arrogantalloy]

[Tony stares at the pillow fort for a very long minute. Then realises he can't help himself any longer as he tugs out a load bearing pillow, to make the whole thing collapse on Thor. He looks more than a little amused at this.]

[brothor]

[Thor hardly notices Tony there, he's preoccupied with his box of poptarts. However, when his palace comes crashing down on him, he's quick to exhange his box for a new weapon, a pillow.

He's going to charge at Tony.]

How dare you!!

[patrioticspells]

[Thor no, nobody wants to see you in your boxers!! But Steve wants his bro time, and he's going to crawl into the pillow fort, looking amused.]

This is a really nice place you've got set up.

[brothor]

[Thor is O.K with Steve entering the palace because he has earnt the title of Bro. He grins over at Steve and offers him a poptart.]

Glorious, is it not?

[Natasha waited until no one was around her room to do something she secretly enjoyed. She took her shoes off and climbed up on to the plush bed and started jumping up and down on it. After a few good jumps she fell back in to the blankets and was glad that she decided to go on the trip.]

[You're never alone, Natasha. Clint will always show up to watch you do all the stupid stuff no one knows about.] Ya could jump 'igher wit'aht the blankets.

[Bruce being Bruce has decided to hide in his assigned room having just enough energy after that damn flight to kick off his shoes and socks before crawling under the covers to pass out.

Careful how you wake the sleeping puppy.]

[Comes into the room a few hours later, as it's normally his and starts rummaging through his things. While he isn't making much of an effort to be quiet, he assumes that Bruce was tired enough to be very asleep and not hear him.]

Upper East Side Penthouse

[It's well past midnight and Tony's sitting in the living room, all the lights are off, as he sits on the couch bathed in the light of a laptop as he sits hunched over it as he types up code. Completely lost in what he's doing.]

Coney Island and it's Amusements.

[arrogantalloy]

[Coney Island has a number of big and small rides, which makes it fun for the whole family. There's a Ferris wheel, the cyclone roller coaster, the parachute drop, a carousel, bumper cars and a haunted house, not to mention several other things to do.]

General Sight Seeing

[For all the really touristy things, like Central Park, the Statue of Liberty and eating at all the good eateries and side walk carts.]

[Tony wanders into the living room, announcing to everyone in ear shot.]

Hey, so. I'm thinking that pizza and hot dogs are the thing to have right now. So I'm going to wander the street for a vendor. If you come, I'll shout.
