I like whomans, but not everything they do... Astrid doesn't cage me, either. She lets me hunt.

And the Striders are good whomans. Dave talks to me a lot. That's probably why I started talking so easily now that we're whoman too.

Astrid does not speak to me much. She reads her textbooks out loud over breaks, though. You do sound more like the whomans.

I think he might be afraid of me now that he knows that I've been able to understand him.

He needs someone to talk to who doesn't talk back, sometimes.

He's a needy whoman. It's good for needy whomans to have someone there who will listen to them. Even if it's an owl.

Still, he's told me a lot of things, and I think he's afraid that now that I can talk, I'll tell people.
