Time for a brodown.
WHO: Bro Strider, Murdoc Donoghue and Peter Banks
TONE: Fighting and angry men
RATING: PG13???
WHEN: After the teacher post
WHERE: Peter's office
WHAT: Bro wants to bring the pain.
STATUS: ongoing
Quite a few things have happened in the hours between the teacher's discussion and now. Murdoc slammed his book shut, and at that point he was quite ready to end it. Awkward or not, he had nothing more to say. Certainly not an apology.
What he had not counted on was Peter coming to his door. Even after slamming it in his face and leaning against it he still wound up being tugged down the halls and to the younger man's office, protesting the entire time. What if Sybille sees. What if anyone sees.
Now he's pacing back and forth in the other man's office, waiting for the right moment to storm off and out.

He was pissed the fuck off by that point, but losing his shades? Oh jesus christ that made him see red. It was a wonder his eyes didn't just turn the same colour as Dave's because of how angry he was. But no, they were still orange. When Peter talked again, god he just wanted to punch him. He was barely even listening to what his co-teacher told him. The last part, though? That caught his attention. What fucking Acromantulas?
But there was no fear in his eyes at being in the forest. If Peter was trying to scare them, it wasn't fucking succeeding because he wasn't someone who could be intimidated like that. If anything, it just made him even angrier.
When the spells were finally lifted, Bro pulled himself off of the ground quickly, reaching for his wand and swiping it in the direction of Peter. "What the actual fuck?" he said, his eyes narrowed into a glare as anger radiated from him. It was a wonder that Peter didn't burst into flames right there. "I don't know where the fuck you come from, but I settle my fucking arguments with fists."
Or swords. Speaking of swords, he felt really naked without his. He flicked his wand in a random direction and nonverbally said Accio Sword.

He has a vague idea of where they're headed and he's almost amused by it. He wasn't scared of the forest, but he did not like the idea of being stuck in here with that ridiculous excuse for a man one bit.
He bounces up to his feet when the spell is dropped and starts preening seconds after. He snorts at Bro's comment and glances at him from the corner of his eye, but his gaze is fixed almost entirely on Peter.
"Settle them with fists, eh? You did a damn good job of that, didn't you?"
He folds his arms over his chest, looking unimpressed with the entire situation.

So all he says, quietly, is, "I wasn't kidding about the acromantulas. Maybe fighting for your lives against something else will help you gain some respect for each other."
The spiders are smart and devious but he can already tell they're gathering, even if he can only hear a few stray clicks and rustles. So he casts a charm. It's mostly smoke and distraction, but the herb he tosses into it does have the effect of warding off the spiders a few seconds longer. The second charm, under the cover of the smoke is a dissillusionment charm. Cheap, and they could still find him by touch or by accident, but it should achieve the effect he's looking for. Namely, the appearance of being gone entirely from the scene.
