WHO: Kurt Hummel and YOU
TONE: Very light for now.
RATING: PG-13, just in case?
WHEN: April 27th,
WHERE: The library
WHAT: Kurt is reading up on masquerades in the library. And singing. Because Kurt. (Prose, but action tag replies are fine.)
STATUS: In-progress

It was kind of insane, really, that in almost five years this was his first time throwing a party at Hogwarts. It wasn't that throwing parties was something Kurt did a lot, but he did like to entertain and set things up; get decorative... And the level of control it offered was nice.

A masquerade had been a truly brilliant idea on Denley's part. Mysterious, elegant, fancy... Hopefully those inherit traits would lead to decent behavior. Kurt wasn't against people having fun, but he didn't want another fight busting out as had happened a month or so ago between some of the third years. (At least that had been over music. Sort of.)

Still, the fact remained that Kurt didn't know a whole lot about masquerades beyond the basics. So, he'd headed to the library and found some appropriate books. Now he was settled at a table, leafing through pages and singing quietly to himself.

"Blackbird singing in the dead of night... Take these broken wings and learn to fly..."

The more he got involved in his reading, the less he kept his volume in check.

"Yeh, s'why Murdoc keeps me around, hehe." His grin goes a bit wider - he's already forgotten the last conversation he had with Kurt about that particular person. "Yours is pretty too. Kind of like a girl's, if you don't mind me saying so."

"Well, I just know some boys don't like being compared wif girls, is all," he shrugs, shooting Kurt another smile. "Just didn't want to offend you or anyfing. Cuz I really do like, and I fink I'd like to sing wif you more."

"Err, when we're not in the library, though."
