No one's gonna take me alive
WHO: Equius and Gamzee
TONE:light and fluffy Dark
RATING: Rish? There is swearing and violence (Also, possibly pseudo-sexual undertones?)
WHEN: April 24th, after this
WHERE: the library
WHAT: Someone is getting their rearend handed to them, and it's not Gamzee
STATUS: in progress
Equius snapped his journal back with a smirk. His emotions were all over the place, up, down, hating everyone, hating himself, but over it all, he felt a tingling sense of anticipation. Gamzee was looking for him, and he had the distinct sense it was not for a simple "conversation," oh no. His hand writing was far too sharp, his words too succinct for that. Could Gamzee actually hurt him?
Maybe. Maybe not.
But a fight was the exact kind of release he needed right now, and the Slytherin boy was certainly making himself available.
Packing everything into his bag, Equius got up and quietly left the library, keeping his head down and eyes alert. He didn't want to make things too easy for Gamzee, after all. That took away all the fun.

The Slytherin liked Equius. Genuinely liked him, didn't just tolerate him - he felt sorry for the pureblood sometimes, and other times he was delighted by the younger boy's interests and dreams that he was so careful with. But none of that mattered right now. It wasn't as though he suddenly started to hate the Ravenclaw, but some things WERE NOT ALLOWED. Making Tavros cry outside the aegis of a rap battle or a formal fight was one of those things, blindsiding the Hufflepuff with cold, hard reality, trying to take away his beautiful dreams.
NO.
So Gamzee didn't give up when he didn't find Equius in the library. No, he kept looking. It probably would have been easier if he was good at charms - he might have used a spell to find the other boy. But he wasn't, it was one of his worst subjects, so he was stuck with manually searching everywhere he could find, empty classrooms, abandoned hallways, the occasional closet.

He didn't want anyone interrupting.
"Makara," he sneered, stepping into the hallway, arms folded behind his back, wand in hand. "You had something you wished to discuss with me?"

Mostly.

He started breathing heavily as he thought about it, his eyes growing wider with each step Gamzee took, bodily trembling in anticipation.

When he struck, it was way faster than most people would have probably given him credit for. His fist lashed out with stupid speed and strength, the long muscles in his arms tensing like steel cords as he aimed for Equius's face.

The taller boy went down in a tangle of limbs as Equius yanked them both to the cold stone floor, but he immediately started writhing and struggling to get an arm free to punch the Ravenclaw again. Gamzee's leverage wasn't so good this time, but he intended to hit the boy over and over until his knuckles were slick with Equius's blood.

Using his weight and superior leverage, he hauled the taller boy to the side, pulling his own fist back to box Gamzee's ears, letting out a low, raspy chuckle.

At the same time, he wrenched his head to the side, ignoring the pain from fighting Equius's grip, and bit the other boy on the inner thigh, his teeth latching on and worrying.

"Oh Gott, ja," he panted, his breath coming out in a whine as the Slytherin sunk his teeth into his thigh. Releasing his hair with one hand, Equius braced himself on the floor, pushing down hard on the other while bringing up his thigh to try and smash in his face.

The Slytherin was extremely flexible, or it never would have worked. But as it was, he could arch his whole body up and back, until he could get one knee hooked around the front of Equius's head. The gave him the leverage to get the other around there, too, so that his legs were now wrapped around the Ravenclaw's head, too. Then he wrenched, trying to force his opponent backwards onto the floor with Gamzee on top.
