[Everyone has arrived and been directed to where their rooms are. You get those fancy muggle key cards and some tickets for a free continental breakfast. You have to have your bags taken up by hotel staff though, muggles would think it's weird seeing trunks float anyways. You finally arrive to your room, it's silent, eerily silent. Oh god have your roommates already killed each other and left you to clean up the mess?]

[Doesn't stop her from claiming top bunk on one set, though.]

Apparently they think we're first years... The beds were more comfortable first year though.

[Chiara had let the little muggle carry her things up to her room, the poor thing struggling under the weight of the trunk while she followed along eyes hidden behind sunglasses. A muggle or muggleborn would recognise them as designer.

Standing in the doorway she frowns at the bedding situation before directing the boy to the one tucked in the corner, flicking a tip at him as he happily left. Hopefully, by taking the bottom corner bunk she would find some solitude]

[ Milla has...about four suitcases. She's a fashionista, okay. ]

Didi, darling, we should bunk together! Do you want top or bottom?

ROOM 2 (Bro, Philip, Peter, Rhys, Sal)

[Is it sad the thing he knows he's going to dread most about this whole trip is that he won't get to sleep next to his wife? He has trouble sleeping when he doesn't have a warm body snuggled up next to him, it's terrible.

The only comfort he can find here is snapping the top bunk of the nearest bunk bed- which he does, aw yis.]

[There wasn't much one needs to pack for a five day seminar, and Phil's used to getting by with the bare minimal. With everything neatly packed into one travel bag, he waved the bellboy's offer away with a smile, still giving the kid a tip for effort, before he collected his card key and headed for his room. With one hand wrapped around the handle, he took a deep breath. He won't deny that he's feeling slightly excited about this teacher get-together; there's always something novel about that first meeting with your new colleagues. He has to wonder though whether any of them were informed about him; both his appointment as the Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, and his...'condition'.

Well, he won't know till he tries. With that thought in mind, he pushed the door open.]

Hello there!

[From the top bunk of one of the two sets of bunk beds a rather young-looking, auburn-haired gentleman pops up, giving Phil a welcoming grin and a wave.] You must be one of the new teachers for the new school year.

[There's a ridiculously tall man sitting on one of the bottom bunks, perusing a potions journal, who glances up as he comes in and gives him a lazy once over. The man wears a look of perpetual amusement, and raises one eyebrow.]

And which one are you?

ROOM 3 (Iroh, Murdoc, Stein, Artollo)

[Murdoc is expecting the worst when he opens the door. Rhys naked on his bed. Bro being an idiot with his stupid puppet things. He's all the more surprised when he pushes in to find an empty room. He peers about suspiciously before quickly swooping in to claim the bed in the corner of the room, hoping he won't be disturbed there.]

[Unfortunately for Murdoc, he has at least one obnoxious roommate on his heels.

Stein opens the door a few minutes later, stumbling over the door frame on his way in with an unlit cigarette dangling from his lips.]

Hallo~ Ach, it's so nice they thought ahead and let me room with at least one person who wouldn't spend the entire time staring at my face in horror.

[Room three, hope you're okay with seeing one of the charms teachers in your room. Not like you have much of a choice, because she's already there. She's sitting on someone's bed, but she has no idea who it belongs to. (Not that she even cares about silly details like that.)

Nor does she care that the book she's reading isn't hers and whoever sleeps in the bed might not appreciate someone drinking on it. (It's just water, though. Or at least it's in a water bottle.)]

[He leaves for one second and when he comes back, his bed is occupied. He strides over and hides whatever surprised expression he wanted to make with an irritated scowl. Since when was getting a girl in his bed this easy.

He straightens to his most intimidating height and scowls.]

Out.

[Well, guess he isn't sleeping in that bed. Art gives a dry grin.]

A COMMON ROOM

[There's one person who hasn't completely decided to unpack in his designated room and he's seated rather comfortably out in the common room. There's a laptop balanced on his knees which he seems happy to type away on as lost in his little world as he is. ]

[He certainly doesn't look like any wizard. He's wearing a black t-shirt with the white words "Don't Make Me Get My Wand" on it, and some seriously worn jeans that have obviously been stitched up more than once with yellow thread. His trainers are utterly mismatched, one black and one white. They seem to match his sunglasses- although they could almost be called 'goggles'. One lense is bright red and the other a brilliant blue. The rest of the plastic, along with the set of bulky headphones he's wearing, were probably once red, but now they've apparently been worn down so much, they almost look more like pink.]

[However, there's Hogwarts symbol plasted onto the back of his laptop. Apparently, he's more than he seems besides some weirdo in the hotel.]

[Art is pretty content just sitting here, thanks.]

[Sal got his unpacking out of the way before anything else. Di is up in the ladies' room so he can't see her yet. Only one of his roommates has arrived, the new DADA teacher, but he seemed to want to get his things in order too so best to leave him to his business for a while. That just left the common room to wait things out in.

He's not expecting anyone to be there really. He and his wife had arrived before most of the other teachers so it's a bit of a surprise for him to see someone with a laptop looking quite comfortable. The goggles are what make him do a double take though.]

[ Swooping down to slide her arms around his shoulders from behind and plant a kiss on the top of his head. ]

Darling, hello! Fancy seeing you here.

[It didn't take him that long to unpack so with some free time on his hands he decided to do a little exploring. This lead him to the common room, where the stack of newspapers on the coffee table catch his attention. Coulson heads over to pick one up to briefly glance through some of the articles. Just because he was on a temporary work absence didn't mean that he stopped being on top of things.]

[And here is Constance, having commandeered one of the armchairs. She has a cup of coffee on the table next to it, and a book in her lap. If it's not obvious from the slight scowl, she's not happy to be here.]

[Rhys has strange smelling tea. Rhys almost always has strange smelling tea, which he drinks in the common room, and occasionally offers to passing other teachers, when he's not making wry or indecipherably weird comments at them.]
