[Everyone has arrived and been directed to where their rooms are. You get those fancy muggle key cards and some tickets for a free continental breakfast. You have to have your bags taken up by hotel staff though, muggles would think it's weird seeing trunks float anyways. You finally arrive to your room, it's silent, eerily silent. Oh god have your roommates already killed each other and left you to clean up the mess?]

[Just when he thought he was alone...Murdoc side eyes Stein as he enters, but he's acting as if he has a number of terribly important things to attend to and can't possibly focus on the other man. He snorts at the comment.]

Couldn't agree more. [He's more or less used to being blown off so Stein's perfectly capable of carrying on a conversation mostly by himself.] So how do you like teaching here? I didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as I have honestly, even if I slightly despise the subject I teach.

What's it you teach again? [Stein gives that screw in his head a few twists, a wry smile forming on his lips.] History of Magic was it?

Divination. I specialize in the ancient Roman practice of using a bird's innards to tell the future. [Or at the very least he specializes in cutting birds open. He's still working on how exactly he's supposed to figure out the future.]

Though I'm sure compared to the illustrious Defense Against the Dark Arts position, my little Divination gig sounds rather dull.

Teachin' in general is a very dull job. I don't see why they felt the need to punish us durin' our brief break from it.
