What: Looks like Di's prodding and poking at Cyrus about his mystery suitor has finally hit the wall, and he's got to come clean about it. Oops. Sorry. You guys DID have claims on Cy, didn't you?

[Cyrus was in a tough spot, and he'd been the one to put himself there. He wouldn't answer Di when she pestered him about the mystery man that had seduced Cyrus into sleeping with him. And he wouldn't give her a name no matter how much she had bugged him over who could have gotten Cyrus to actually get into bed with them. Cyrus was in the middle of beating himself up over it, and well...He kind of broke a promise to Di and Sal, hadn't he? They did essentially have claim over him.]

[It was a weird little situation. Cyrus liked to reason with himself about his relationship with them, that he was an unofficial third party in a polyamorous relationship with the two of them. Granted, he usually found himself saying this so he didn't sound like the world's most depressing bachelor. They were kind of the reason why he didn't like to try and date someone--he always felt like he was cheating on the both of them]

[So, that's why he was here. Awkwardly standing at the door. Awkwardly knocking. And awkwardly waiting for his two childhood friends to throw the door open and berate him for being silly.]

[It's actually fairly expected that he'd show up at their door. After all, he had said he wanted to talk to them in person and so Di had leaped up off the bed, scattering a few cat and sending papers flying on Sal's lap]

That's probably Cy. [She explained the basics to Sal and it had been a constant whine at any spare moment. She hated not knowing things when they were especially important. And Cy having sex with someone DEFINITELY was. She opens the door without even checking and grabs Cy's hand] I was wondering when you'd show up, idiot. Sal, clear a space for him on the bed.

[She is not normally this bossy maybe possibly--you're withholding things, SHE MUST BE BOSSY]

[That's right, Cy, your best friend is all up to speed and he's dying to know details. He clears off the remaining papers in his lap and on the bed then shoos the cat, who was rather content even under a small pile of papers, off his lap.

He paps the newly freed space on the bed.]

Come on up, Cy. We've got some talking to do.

[And Cyrus was dragged along like an apprehensive dog on a leash as Di pulled him in and over to the bed. He had a somewhat exasperated look on his face as he trudged up to them and sat down on the bed, almost like a kicked puppy.]

Why do I feel as if I'm going to be scolded?

[Dierdre sat down right beside him, raising an eyebrow] Here I thought we were going to talk about this man you've been seeing. Have you done anything worth scolding you about?

You're not a child, Cy. We're all adults and we're going to discuss this like adults.

[Cyrus brought his hands to his face as if desperately needing to rub at his forehead.]

I just don't want the both of you to flip at me for who I've been sort of involved with...

No one is going to flip out at you. Now you wanted to talk so you should spill.

[He sighs quietly, picking up a hand and combing his fingers through his hair.]

...I'm involved with Rhys.

[...Okay Di you just said you weren't going to flip out. No flipping. None--Oh drat] Cy! He's--He's not right in the head! And he could hurt you, I'm sure, you shouldn't be putting yourself in such positions with him! And--[She bites her tongue on any other issues she has with this. This isn't about her feelings on the matter or the slight possessive feel she still has towards Cy. They'd been his first and--No. Back to subject]

Rhys? [This is an unexpected turn of events. Sorry, Cy, Sal is inclined to agree with his wife's concerns.] Really? Rhys of all people?

[Cyrus sighs quietly, just sitting there, knowing full well that Sal and Di might reply like this. He sighs quietly, glancing at the both of them.]

...He hasn't hurt me, and--I'm not sure why I'm seeing him, either.

[She sighs, reaching out to pet Cyrus' hair. She doesn't really know what to say...Anyone else really.]

...Cy you're an adult so you can do what you want, but I'm worried...He could do so much to you and you don't really know him that well. [Tiny smile] But if he hurts you...
