We say hello to say goodbye
WHO: Everyone!
TONE: Light
RATING: G and up
WHEN: September 1st
WHERE: The Great Hall and so on
WHAT: 4th wall log for the start of term feast and endgame
STATUS: Ongoing
For once, the sun is shining brightly as the Hogwarts Express makes its way to it's destination. It's been a long Summer, but now it's time to leave behind all the playing and mischief in order to go forth and be productive students- haha, as if that's going to stop anyone!
The arrival at Hogwarts is cheerful and exciting. There seem to be lots of new people here this year, both students and professors alike. Everyone seems to be excited to start the new year off, and the elves have outdone themselves this year. The start of term feast is delicious and full of all kinds of deliciou food. The sky above the Great Hall features a crystal clear, brightly shining moon and twinkling stars.
As the feast ends, Dumbledore will rise and make his usual announcements- but the difference is, he doesn't send everyone to bed. Instead, he claps his hands and the tables move out of the way and music starts playing. He says that tonight is a very special night! It marks the 1000th year anniversary that Hogwarts has been open! So a party is being thrown in honor of such a special occasion!
Over the course of the night, as if the castle itself wants to get in on things and make it's impact, some people will find that they are more prone to opening up. They won't exactly spill their guts, but if they have feelings they wish to share with someone, then they'll find themselves much less inclined to keep shut on them. This will carry on all night, and well into the next day or two.
So mingle, have fun, and try not to indulge in too many desserts! You do still have class tomorrow.

So for now, he sits at one of the tables, looking fairly pleased with himself and excited about the festivities of the night as he eats his dessert and drinks some apple cider.
no subject
Once at the table, he will drop his hands and bellow "MOOOOOOOOUSSE" before picking up the glass bowl with an oddly delicate way about him. "Just like back home."
no subject
"You know, that's a good look for you. So, what. Eat all the sugar in the house before getting on the train? Because even for you this is more excited than normal."
He eats some of his own mousse with a grin. Feeling a little more energetic himself from Thor's energy.
no subject
"How could I be anything less than excited when there is a party on a school night! Madness!" The grin implies he's perfectly alright with this madness as he works his way into the mousse.
"Can you truly say you are not pleased about the festivities?"
no subject
"You really are an after school special of the innocent student sometimes. Just saying."
Tony shrugs and eats more of the mousse.
"I could, but it would be something of a lie. This is a lot of fun actually."
no subject
"How can I be an after school special when it has only just begun? You insult me with such half hearted compliments!" He shoulders him with all the aggression a happy mousse eater can muster up. "I never thought I'd see the day when Tony Stark would freely admit to having fun! It truly is a celebration!!"
no subject
Tony raises an eyebrow at him for the claim of him never admittingg to having fun.
"Uh, I admit to having fun all the time. It's just not always around you. Wait, I didn't say that trying out that hotdog vender in central park with you was fun?"
no subject
Thor is so very fast to wave off Tony's response with a mousse filled spoon. "That is practically ancient history by this point, Stark. If you do not admit it every day I am doing friendship wrong!"
no subject
Tony leans back a little from the spoon, if only because he prefers it in his mouth than all over his shirt.
"Wait, what? Who ever says that someone is fun everyday? Who is even that sentimenta-... Other than you, who is that sentimental?"
no subject
He's just really in love with TV, okay. But he'll express it through rapidly spooning mousse into his mouth.
"Must you be sentimental to take pleasure in knowing your companions are having fun? You are so terribly selfish!"
no subject
To be fair, Tony actually doesn't mind Thor being there at all, but still warning's can't hurt.
"Taking pleasure of it? No, but constantly telling others, yeah, quite a bit I'd say. And yeah, I know I'm selfish, where have you been?"
no subject
no subject
"Well, for a start, I use a spoon. That was a good look on you by the way."
no subject
no subject
"The look of you sucking mousse of your finger."
no subject
no subject
He chuckles as he subtly shifts closer to him.
"So, miss me?"
Tony know's they rode in on the train, and saw each other a fair few times over the holidays. Doesn't stop him asking though.

"You know, I knew it would hurt you. Deep inside, but I thought. Hey, he has friends too, so I have to leave so he can talk to them too."
no subject
no subject
"You know, you say some of the cruelest things."
He drops his hand from his face and starts eating more mousse. Then pokes the spoon at him.
"You know, one day I'm going to straighten your hair, then what are you going to do?"
