Bruce told Tony to meet him at the Room of Requirement after dinner, a bit before curfew so they wouldn't be missed. He was just sitting in the room - this time a rather comfortable place that almost looked exactly like the Ravenclaw common room - by the fire, Tony's present neatly wrapped and tucked under the couch cushion. He knew Tony had friends eager to give him birthday greetings and presents, so he'd come prepared with a book, waiting for the too popular teen to show up.

"Please, at this point in time, Sherlock's just eager for dating advice. And Herbert, well... I don't care. But hey, this is good too, comfortable I like it, I mean some champagne would have gone really great, but hey, I can deal without it."

Tony gives Bruce his best and rather honest for him, boyish grin. Because time with Bruce is pretty great when he doesn't need to snark at Sherlock, or give dirty looks to Herbert.

"We are in the Room of Requirement, if you really want champagne you can just think hard for it," he snorted.

Still, the smile was too sweet and natural that Bruce couldn't help but return a small one, leaning in to kiss him on the lips gently.

"So you're going to condone this?"

Tony wastes no time thinking up a good champagne with two flutes on a coffee table nearby. He slips off of Bruce for a second while he opens the bottle and pours the two glasses, before turning to Bruce, offering him a flute.

"To being 15."

"Just one glass, since it's your birthday and all." He smiled and clinked his glass to Tony's. "To not killing yourself with your own bone-headedness yet."

Tony smiles, but doesn't agree to it being his only glass. And after their clink and Bruce's toasting, Tony drinks.

"Good thing I'm obviously made of pretty strong stuff then, huh?"

"Whatever you say, short stack," he teased, smiling and sipping his drink quietly.

[arrogantalloy]

"Short sat- Hey come on, I'm not that much shorter than you, also I'm younger so that means I'll probably be taller than you, you know."

He pretends to look affronted, but it doesn't last long as he takes a drink from his own glass.

"Oh, fresh. Like really fresh."

He glances at the bottle to see if he thought up a cheap bottle.

"You're the one who wanted it - guess you didn't 'require' it to be a good one," he joked, grinning.

"Minor set back. Really all it means is that a year is far too long to go between champagne tastings."

He stares at the glass and drinks more of it anyway.

"You know, on second testing. It's not so bad. It just needs to be understood, that's all."

Tony gives him a grin and slips his way onto Bruce's lap.

Raising his brows at Tony's shift, Bruce sat back a bit so the boy would have more room to clamber into his lap. "... Right. Sure. Whatever you say?"

He grins at him after getting comfortable.

"It means we should go out for dinner when school ends, and remember the taste of good champagne. Because it's like cider, the wrong amount of bubbles can ruin it."

Snorting, Bruce rolled his eyes. "You know you're not legal to drink right?"

[arrogantalloy]

Tony sighs slightly.

"Fine, Jarvis can make us something at home. Going out would have been you know, better, romantic, with a better setting."

He drinks more, glancing at Bruce's glass.

"Not having more?"

"Mm? Nah, I'm good thanks." He shrugged and set the glass down on the table, taking a moment to indulge in being cuddly and just nuzzling Tony's cheek gently.

"Are you su"

He goes quiet as Bruce starts to nuzzle then grins wider to himself.

"Well, if you insist, I mean I can't make you drink."

He leans into the nuzzling and shifts in closer to Bruce.

"I don't like drinking, as you know."

He smiled as Tony leaned in closer and pressed a gentle kiss to the cheek he'd been nuzzling.

He turns his head more towards Bruce encouraging him for more.

"One of the few places where we're different, which is good for relationship dynamics, makes for a healthy relationships really."

"So long as you don't drink too much, I think we'll be fine," he answered, bumping noses with Tony lightly before kissing the edge of his lips.

[arrogantalloy]

Tony smirks.

"Why would I ever need to drink too much?"

He wets his lips slowly, wanting to wait for Bruce to go from furtive kisses to proper kissing, but doesn't have the ability to hold out any longer and kisses him.

"You never know."

He chuckled into the kiss, lightly nibbling along the edge of Tony's lower lip.

"I know you're always there to keep me from making a complete ass of myself."

He licks Bruce's top lip as his own bottom is nibbled, shifting in his lap to face him a little more.

Bruce snorted but put his arms around Tony's waist, partly to make sure the young boy wouldn't fall off or something equally stupid. "Sorry, that's not possible. You were born into complete ass-itude."

[arrogantalloy]

"You know. All I'm hearing is you talking about my ass."

Tony grins more, kissing him before he can come back at him with a shoot down.

Sure enough, Bruce is adequately distracted by the kiss, humming into it as he returns it eagerly.

As soon as they break apart though, he murmurs against Tony's lips, "That's because you're obsessed with your own ass."

During the kiss, Tony runs his fingers through Bruce's hair. Playing with the locks at the back of his neck as they part.

"It's more of a healthy respect."
