Let's get down to business
WHO: Thor Odinson, The Gryffindor Quidditch team and anyone who wants to watch some lions jump through hoops.
TONE: General/Fun
RATING: G (maybe worse if the naughty kids use bad words)
WHEN: May 14 (BACKDATED LIKE WOAH)
WHERE: Quidditch Pitch
WHAT: With one of the final matches drawing near, Thor decides to call upon his soldiers of love and beauty for a training session.
STATUS: Ongoing
It had been decided that late afternoon would be the ideal time for a training session, with the older members of the team preparing for exams it can be a little difficult to get everyone together. By some miracle, an afternoon had been spared and the team makes their way to the pitch with gusto! If any of them are tired, they certainly aren't showing it, they've been training hard since the moment they hit the pitch.
Thor has set up a few obstacles, he also has various members of his team jogging and performing trust excersises. If you happen upon them, you my be transfixed by the intensity of the session. You may also want to stop and laugh at the poor suckers working themselves to the bone. Have mercy, friends. Bring them snacks so they don't wither away into the wind.

There's a pole he smacks into and falls to the ground, sprawling there for a minute as he let's himself breathe. He's frustrated at his inability to focus on both things at once.

However, the sound of Steve colliding with the pole is enough to have Thor's and a good part of the teams eyes on the other boy before a ripple of laughter passes over them. Thor jogs toward Steve, stifling a chuckle as he holds his hand out for him.
"I see you're getting to know the field quite intimately, Rogers."
no subject
"Didn't you know? The field and I started our secret rendezvous in third year, I guess today it just couldn't wait til our appointed time."
no subject
"I've had a vague idea since the last time you two collided." He half smirks at him, he's really not so good at the smarmy look. "I'm simply pleased you've not terribly injured yourself before the came. Is your face alright?"
no subject
"This mug? It's fine, I was just born this funny looking," he says it with an all knowing nod.
no subject
Ah. And he's his friend, of course. That too.
He scoffs at the response, shaking his head at Steve. "Then I won't have to send you to a nurse, I'm sure she'll be used to the sight of it by now."
no subject
He looks at Thor for a second, thinking if now is a good time to bring up some ideas for training. The main reason he hasn't yet is because Thor is captain and he's great at it, so Steve doesn't want to step on his friends's toes like that. He respects Thor too much to undermine his authority. But he's pretty sure his ideas will be useful, enough so to feel the need to bring it up.
"So, I have a couple ideas for training, I thought maybe you'd be up for hearing them?"
no subject
He watches him as he looks, knowing a question is coming but entirely unaware of what it is in regards to. Luckily, even with his huge ego, he doesn't think himself too much above his team. He's certainly open to suggestions, even if at the end of the day he is the captain and knows best.
"Do you now?" He folds his arms over his chest, pretending to scrutinise Steve. "You may speak!"
no subject
"I was thinking, how about playing Quidditch on the ground. No brooms, no flying, more like muggle sports. I think it will be challenging and force them to think outside the box," Steve bites his lip as he looks at Thor, unsure what his reaction will be.
no subject
"That sounds like an interesting concept." He strokes his hopelessly smooth chin curiously. "Tell me more of it! How does it work? Perhaps you should do a demonstration for me!" He may just want to see him run around.
