[Tavros shifts uncomfortably, letting out a nervous giggle again. Why was he so giggly anyway? His cheeks turn pinker as he realizes that he's been giggling so much and he coughs to make himself stop.]

U-Uh... Um. [Nervous swallow- and his throat is entirely too dry, so he wets it with a little of the booze.] Uhhh... I-I guess, kill the Professor... Um. Uh. I don't, uh...I- I guess, m-marry John and... and...fuck you, Gamzee...

[His face is so red. SO RED.]

[Gamzee crows with utter delight, actually getting up to dance on the table, this time, and very nearly knocking the bottle of vodka over. He's had enough time to get well and truly lit, now, the alcohol burning through his system in wonderful waves.]

Hell yeah! I got me all my fine bitches in the house~ [And laughing again, he jumps down and dances around Tavros's chair, stopping in front of it, and bending over, bracing his hands on the arms and staring at the Hufflepuff from only a few inches away.] That is if I don't be losing you all to the motherfuckin' pokey for killing a prof, or to a deathmatch for the motherfuckin' hand of Egbert.

[This time when he kisses Tavros, it's right on the corner of the mouth, and then he's dancing away again, over to Karkat, and without even asking permission, he scoops the smaller boy up in his arms, bridestyle, spins him around, then flops back on the bed so the Gryffindor's basically splayed across his lap.]

[Karkat just stared as the older Slytherin got up fully onto the table. It wasn't like he hadn't seen Gamzee do weird shit like that before. What he hadn't been expecting was for his heart to drop even further into the pit of his stomach when Gamzee leaned down to kiss Tavros. His stomach twisted up in a knot with the alcohol and nicotine he'd consumed in the last hour and he looked away.

That was why he hadn't been expecting Gamzee to pick him up bridal-style from his place on the bed and spin him around. Karkat let out a terrified shriek, before his friend let them both drop to the bed, his face hitting Gamzee's chest with a small thump.]

Don't fucking do that!

[Tavros was laughing when Gamzee got up on the table, and he even clapped a little- a mistake, because he sloshed a little of his drink out before realizing, and almost burnt himself with his cigarette, which was just about burnt out.

But he let out a squeak when Gamzee kissed him. When he pulled back, Tavros brought his hand up to cup the area, his eyes absolutely wide and his cheeks turning even more red. It tingled. Just like his ear had, it was definitely tingling. He let out a nervous little laugh, averting his gaze and bringing the cup up to take a hefty swig, as a result he missed seeing Gamzee pick Karkat up. They were already sitting down when Tavros looked up at Karkat's angry voice. His nervous laugh turned into a more lighthearted one, because they looked pretty amusing and his embarrassment from Gamzee kissing him was fading fast.

He brought the cigarette up to his mouth and took the last puff out of it, before putting it out on one of his armrests- wait, why had he done that? That was careless. Oh well.]

Uhhh, I thiiink that game was getting a little, boring. We should play somethin' else, like...uh... [He brings a finger to his chin, thinking hard to figure out a game that would be appropriate. Oh, one definitely came to mind! It wasn't bad at all. He'd seen it in a funny movie once, it was pretty innocent.] I know, we can play truth or, uh, dare!

[Gamzee is still laughing, little honks and giggles escaping his mouth at odd intervals. He gathers Karkat up more fully onto his lap, and wraps his arms around the other boy, immediately feeling more at peace with the world, and strokes the Gryffindor's hair fondly, as he nuzzle lazily at his neck.]

Too late, motherfucker, I already been and done it! [murmurs to his friend, still grinning, then looks up at Tavros, eyebrows raised] Well, hell, I guess Karkat here ain't the only one all getting his dirty on in this shack. I vote yes!

[He flushed angrily and straddled Gamzee's waist due to being unable to escape the other's arms. He drew his knees up a little, fisting his hand into the taller boy's shirt for something to hold onto with a small pout that he definitely didn't mean to be a pout.]

I'm not getting my dirty on. [And by that he means yes, of course truth or dare was acceptable.]

Oh, uh... No, I'm not either- it's not... Oh, uh, anyway! Yeah, let's... Okay! Uhhh, Gamzee, truth or dare?

[Well, Gamzee's pretty happy with his best motherfuckin' bro cuddled in his lap, and looking at his unrequited crush, and a dare might mean he has to move, so ... ]

Hit me with that motherfuckin' truth!

[Tavros has to really think about the question, because he has no idea what to even ask. So finally he just decides to be a little silly, and it's not a very serious question.]

Uhhh, who do you like more, me or Karkat? Heheh....!

[But Gamzee blinks, and is quiet for a long moment, thinking about it. That's a hard question ... he doesn't tend to think of people in terms like that, more or less, who is he more fond of? And it's hard to compare these two, too, they're both so incredibly important in his life.]

I can't motherfuckin' say ... [slowly] Because I like you both about as much as any one motherfucker could, you know? But, like, in different ways. Because you both need to be liked in different motherfuckin' ways, I think. Like ... Karkat, he needs a dude to be strong and all up and get his listen on, you know? Because he's got so much shit to say. He needs to know a motherfucker's got his back, but he can mostly take care of his own self, except against his own self, you know?" He's like his own worst motherfuckin' enemy, and I'm the bro what's gonna stand in the way between himselves! And I kind of love him for that, you know? For what an amazing motherfucker he's gonna be when he gets together with himself and they stop all the fighting.

And, like, you, you need someone to be all liking you for just who you are, period. Because some motherfucker somewhere told you what you was ain't no good, and you just believed it, because you get your believe on about a lot of shit. So you gotta have a bro what stands between you and the rest of those haters what are blind and ignorant and don't see that you can fly. And that's me, too, I'll do that! And I love you for that, for your mind what can believe in all the good things in the world and all the miracles, even with motherfuckers trying to take you down!

But I can't pick which one is best, because my heart is all up and full of both of y'all. There ain't no measurin' that shit, it just is.

[Gamzee probably felt Karkat tense up in his lap at Tavros's question. His week had already been shitty enough, he didn't need to know his best friend preferred someone else over him. He was about to push himself off of Gamzee's lap and head back to the school to turn himself in before the taller Slytherin spoke.

His shoulders hunched a little as he buried his face into the front of his hoodie. His head was buzzing with alcohol but he was pretty sure he knew what Gamzee thought of him. His face flushed a deeper red, his heart thumping in his ears. The class clown had just told him that he needed to grow up. That really told him he was a fucking screw up.

He didn't make any noise, just glanced away.]

[Tavros stared down at the floor as Gamzee spoke, a lump forming in his throat because Gamzee's words words were getting to him- in a good way. By the time he was done, he felt himself tearing up.]

O-oh...I... [He wiped at his eye.] ...Can I have a hug?

[Gamzee doesn't know that Karkat's taken his words completely the wrong way - he often gets this way when he seems to be touched, too, so he just gently maneuvers the smaller boy, kissing his temple lightly, then gets up to give Tavros the requested hug, leaning over and wrapping his long arms around the Hufflepuff and squeezing him tightly. The Slytherin smells of alcohol and cigarettes and artificial grape flavor, and also of teenage boy, all of which gets wrapped around Tavros with Gamzee's arms.]

[Karkat wanted to say no, he couldn't have a fucking hug because he was comfortable where he was, but when Gamzee moves him off his lap, he pulls his knees up to his chin, wrapping his arms around them. He keeps his face hidden in his hoodie as he looks down at the floor, light rust-coloured eyes staring at nothing.]

[Tavros lets out a satisfied little hum as Gamzee hugs him, and he wraps his arms around his best bro. When he opens his eyes though, he sees Karkat behind Gamzee, looking sad. Nooo, that wasn't allowed to be a thing. That was far from being allowed to be a thing. Once he's done hugging Gamzee, he pulls away and wheels over to Karkat.]

Uhhh, hey... that's not what we, uh, came here for! You need to, be happy! [And then he throws him arms around Karkat, careful not to slosh any booze on him. And then, to make it even better, he motions for Gamzee to come over. It was totally group hug time now, that was a thing that needed to happen, Tavros thought.]

[Damn if that wasn't the best idea Gamzee's heard in while. He immediately snakes himself around the diminutive Gryffidor, wrapping his arms around him from the back, and his legs, too, for good measure, so that Karkat's sandwiched between the two of them. Then he plants a soft kiss right on the nape of Karkat's neck, above his hood.]

What's getting your harsh on, my brother? [murmurs softly in the other boy's ear]

[Their reactions kind of make him balk a little. He makes a move to back away a little from Tavros before he's sandwiched between him and Gamzee. He shouldn't really be surprised, and he immediately kicks himself for thinking anything different. Even a little sloshed, Karkat knows that if possible these two are the only ones who don't hate him right now. He tilts his head to the side, subconsciously giving Gamzee free range at his neck without knowing he did it.]

It's nothing.

[Group hugs were wonderful. They were definitely one of Tavros's favourite things, and he did not get to do them often! So this was pretty fantastic. At Karkat's words, Tavros rubs his back comfortingly. When his hand went a bit higher than he intended, going up to Karkat's hair, he twirls a finger in it without even fully realizing he's doing it as he speaks.]

No, no, you should, uh, tell us! So we can make it, better and stuff, because... we're, uh, friends! And we're here to make stuff better!

What a brother has just all up and said. [Gamzee agrees solemnly, using his arms around Karkat to give Tavros's shoulder a little squeeze. This was like the best motherfuckin' cuddle pile ever. So he can probably be excused for the happy way he's nuzzling at Karkat's neck, breathing in the comforting smell of him in long, slow breaths, letting his lips follow a little. Because he knows Karkat doesn't want to make out with him, but it doesn't count if it's on the lips, right? Bros can totally kiss each other other places, that's just friendly.]

[He was kind of used to Gamzee's weird kissing tendencies by now that it never crossed his mind that it might be stranger to others. Hell, they'd even kissed before so it wasn't like Gamzee had never seen him differently. Besides, it was only gay if balls touched. He gives a small grumble before shifting so his legs were a little open, just in case Tavros wanted to crawl onto the bed or something.]

Everyone hates me.

[Tavros had found himself snuggling into Karkat a little more than was probably necessary for group hugs, but it was impossible not to, because group hugs were just that good. And he didn't really notice Gamzee doing anything, because his attention was focused solely on Karkat at that moment. He noticed Karkat shift, and the space he made suddenly looked pretty inviting. With a little difficulty, making sure not to spill booze anywhere, he moved onto it, and then froze at Karkat's words.]

That's, uh... really silly! Nobody hates you- especially, uh, not us! And me, because... haha, you punched Strider. And that makes you, uh, really awesome.

You know it ain't motherfuckin' everyone, because there are two mothefuckers right here who think you're the bitchtits. [Gamzee agrees, fingers moving soothingly through the Gryffindor's hair.] So who all is it that you're thinking is hating you, and why do they even matter?

[The snuggling was almost nice. It wasn't very often Karkat snuggled by choice, and even with this he'd been sandwiched before he could protest. He reached to take Tavros's booze from him before he could spill it over the musty bed, pushing himself back against Gamzee in the process. He blinked at the awesome comment, a small flush covering his cheeks, glancing down at the Hufflepuff's glass still in his hands. He really, really doesn't want to say her name.]

You know who.

[Yeah. Yeah, he knew who. He takes the glass back from Karkat perhaps a little too hastily, and ends up spilling a little of it down the front of his shirt. Oh well, who cared? He drained the rest of it in a near single gulp.]

Ugh...Why d'you even- uh, no... Stop. Stop, stop, st-stop. [He snuggles up against Karkat, surprisingly gently considering how much he did not want to talk about her. Because maybe enough cuddles would make her go away for once.] Pleeeease?

[Gamzee's hand keeps stroking gently through Karkat's hair, smoothing it back from his forehead, from his ears.] Any motherfucker, lady or dude, who doesn't know what a motherfuckin' treasure you are is an idiot.

[His voice was soft, but firm - Gamzee sounding serious, for once.] And ain't worth your time, even if dumb motherfuckers who say they're your best friends tell you different. [Yeah, he still feels ... pretty shitty about that.] But none of those ladies and dudes is here right now. That's why we're here, right? To get away from that shit.
