WHAT: Canon selves event! A seance gone awry has had its effect on the school, bringing about mental and physical changes to students and staff alike! Full details of the combinations of effects can be found here.
STATUS: Ongoing! Use whichever style you like.

[Spring brings change, but that change isn't always a good thing! Whether your character has changed entirely into their canon self, or only in part, please keep in mind that whatever they know/learn of their original canon during this event will be unable to be clearly recalled - disappearing with their past self - when the event is over. This is to avoid fourth-walling after the conclusion of the event.

Please also keep in mind that some people will not want to fourth-wall during the event! Make sure it's alright with the other player before you decide to do that. Above all, though, have fun!]

[Gamzee has also turned gray! And grown horns and claws and fangs, and his eyes have turned amber and grey and his has pointed, mobile ears now. The face paint is unmistakable, though, except Marshall no longer remembers his Housemates.]

[So, here's one of the castle's gaggle of trolls - this one obviously much younger than the one he woke up with and wearing Juggalo make-up. He's staring at Bro curiously, seemingly undeterred by how fast the human is moving.]

Rhydderch. And I imagine that a cool head is your best option currently. These things always pass, and so far I have seen nothing dangerous about the transformations. Perhaps you could tell me what you've encountered this morning, however?

[He crouches so she's a little closer to eye level, though he still looms above her even like this. His long arms and huge shoulders make him look almost simian in that posture, and his claws click against the stone as he settles.]

Troll? [glancing down at one huge hand, then shaking his head] Yes, it must be some different kind than the ones known to us.

[He looks back up again at the comment about his size, and smirks. The expression looks incredibly sinister on that alien face.] What gave it away? I'm not going to try and eat you, you know. You don't smell particularly appealing. [At least not in the edible way.]

Mr. Makara. [greeting his son, and immediately noting the change in demeanor, the sign in the unfamiliar language ... hmm, something has definitely happened] If you are still Kurloz Makara.

[higherthaneverybody]

Mr. Stark. [Hi, Tony, have a nine and some change foot tall(before horns) monster with fangs addressing you. Someone looks like a super-villain here, and it sure ain't the human with the goatee.] You seem to have aged considerably. Again.

[He moves ridiculously fast, far too quickly for something of that size, and is by her side as her back hits the wall, one massive hand sliding behind her to keep her from sliding to floor.] Dolores, it's Rhys.

[His voice is a low, inhuman growl, though, and his monstrous form really quire distracting.]

[Tony turns around looking down at his phone with a frown.]

Aged considerably? I know I've felt pretty beat up after the chia-Uagh!?

[As Tony puts his phone in his pocket and looks up to address the person talking to him, he is understandably surprised and takes several steps back almost falling over.]

W-What the hell?!

[Tilts head curiously - he's never met any 'Kanaya' in his time but if she's the one to find... Damn, should've brought more ink. He looks around pointedly as if to find this other troll Gamzee's talking about.]

[He's not a fish? Whoops. He might have to clarify that with the boat that's speeding its way closer and closer to his location in the lake. Leading the charge is Wesley, but while the face is the same, nothing can be said about his mind. For one, he's got a net, hastily made with whatever rope he could find around Hogwarts, and it looks like he's set on making Murdoc his catch of the day.]

[STARES AT. Damn but this fucker's pretty intense, as far as (Beforian) trolls go! Still, Kurloz is digging the adult troll's style, and perks up when his name is mentioned, obviously responding to it. He attempts signing to see if the adult will understand him, though if Rhys has been watching Kurloz's usual sign language he'll notice there's something very off about the positions his hands are taking.]

[As un fun as Tony's feeling right now, it doesn't mean he doesn't notice the iris colour change.]

Hey, what's with the eye thing?

[He looks around the room again.]

[Students may have noticed that Professor Sun isn't at class at the proper times. Instead, they'll catch him stalking up and down the castle wearing pants and a shirt instead of the normal robes that a wizard wears. He's already been informed about the fact that he's in a wizard's castle in a country he's never heard about, and that he's supposed to be some other person called "Wesley Sun". Nonsense! He's the Tiger of Jiangdong, the pirate chaser of the Changsha river, Lord of the lands of Wu, descendent of the great Sun Tzu!

He is Lord Sun Jian, and if there's one thing he's learned in the short time he's had to deal with sorcery is that you merely have to find the altar that's being used to perpetuate the chaos, and destroy it.

So there are two scenarios you might catch "Sun Jian" in.

A: Grand Hall
He's about to smash the hourglasses holding the house points. He's got a chair in one hand and he's not afraid to use it!!

B. Lakeside
Unable to find any explanation and altar to destroy that could bring him back to China, he's decided to find the closest sea-worthy vessel and sail across the lake to calm down and think through his options. Right now he's securing the sails and is about to cast off on the sailing boat Wesley had brought back with him after the Easter Holidays.

[She's not the only one who's lost. Sun Jian is far from happy with the situation but he's not one to leave a woman in distress. So when a young girl intercepts him he obliges her with a slight nod and a polite, albeit strained, smile.]

Yes, girl? What can I do for you?

[Rhys has gotten used to this reaction by now, and explains quite calmly (in a rumbling, inhuman voice)] It's Professor Rhydderch, your Head of House. This is merely one of the castle's effects, much as your age is.

[He smiles dryly, though all nuance of the expression is lost with those fangs, and just looks utterly terrifying instead.] I have no intention of attacking or eating you, if you have concerns on that front.

[Pauses.]

What? Who's Xavier?

[Shock gets green out of his eyes as he frowns at Tony.]

[arrogantalloy]

[He takes a few moments to just stare and take in the childness]

Hm. Short. And how did you manage this whole reverse 'Big' fiasco, then?

[mo_cara]

I ain't got the know of where she be hiding at. [admits with a shrug] Ain't never been in this topsy turvy stone hive fort afore, so I ain't laid my peepers on no trolls that I got the friendship disease with. I gotta find me some of them motherfuckers, anyway.

[looks briefly worried]

[Tony takes a few more steps then stops.]

Thanks for the introduction there, Prince Adam. But unless we met while I was drunk. And I think even drunk I'd remember that look. Can't say we've met.

[He swallows hard.]

Yeah, wasn't really thinking about you really eating me until now.

[arrogantalloy]

Yeah, bald, wheelchair teaches 'special' kids in an out of the way place.

... Never heard of him. [Rolls eyes and resumes going to back room in hopes of finding a nurse.]

[arrogantalloy]

Hmm. Then what's with the eyes? [Just stands there waiting for something to happen. Fighting the urge to sway.]

[Yes, there's definitely something wrong, though Kurloz also obviously knows who he is. The huge troll shakes his shaggy head at the boy.] I don't recognize those. Writing would be-

[No, wait, it wouldn't, because of those odd symbols. And Rhys can no longer use his wand, so he couldn't cast any sort of translation spell, either. Damn. He growls in frustration, completely unconsciously, a heavy, rumbling sound that echoes up from deep in his chest.]

[He leans over then, looming over the smaller human, amber and indigo eyes intense on the child.] Speak, if you can. I've heard you before.

Oh, charming. It's changed your mind, as well. Very well, I will give you a brief explanation, which you'll likely not believe, and you can spend the rest of the day verifying.

[The troll sounds impatient, because he's probably going to have to do this several times today.]

You are normally a student here, 14 years old, I believe. I am your Head of House and professor, and I don't normally look like this. This is Hogwarts, a school for wizards and witches, and you're in your 6th year of education here. Occasionally the castle, which is also magical and seems to have a mind of its own, enacts various effects on the inhabitants, changing species, sex, age, and mental status, which seems to be what's happened to you. Any questions? And I will entertain none about illicit or hallucinatory substances you believe I've ingested or simple incoherencies, though that's never been much of a problem for you.

[The more she thinks about it the more odd it seems. She leads him over to the entrance to the Hufflepuff common room and looks up and down the hall to make sure no one else is around. She pushes the barrels aside to reveal the entrance, and pulls out her wand, tapping them in the correct order and rhythm. The door swings open and she looks behind her at Kurloz.]

Wait here. [A pause. It wouldn't take her long to go in, get scissors, and come back out but that worry has only gnawed at her more.] I'll make sure it's still empty, okay?

[With that she ducks inside]
