[It's finally time to kick off the egg hunt! You're paired up and the eggs are hidden, so go off and find those eggs! They are hidden literally everywhere, even in places you may not expect them to be. So be sure to look everywhere, just try not to get in too much trouble! Friendly competition is one thing, just don't punch anyone in the face trying to get an egg.

[God, today has just been an all around immasculating for Murdoc. First he needs to be rescued from a cat of all things, carried around like a rag doll and now this. Falling on his arse and hurting his damn back. Again. Bro must think he's made of glass.

He lets out a pained grunt in response, not wanting to admit that yes, yes it is his back. But whatever, right? He's going to just push himself up and...slump back down so he can stare dejectedly at the ceiling.]

Y'know, we never just lie together. [He raises a hand to wave Bro down.] You should come lie next to me for a while.

[Oh come on, at least Bro doesn't think any less of him for it. It's not as if Murdoc can help it when the castle decides to fuck with them! And there's also the fact that his back problems are from being a hard worker, he can hardly fault him for that. So come on, you're still plenty of a man in Bro's eyes.

Except okay, the way Murdoc is clearly denying it is kind of amusing. He'll play along though.]

[Slowly, Bro gets onto his knees and crawls forward, positioning himself next to Murdoc and throwing an arm over him.]

[Regardless, he still hates being reminded that he's a frail old man who is already past his prime. He's sure ten years ago he'd have been able to change sizes and be crushed by his boyfriend without so much as a bruise. Hell, he'd still be able to now if it weren't for his blasted back injury. He isn't even forty!

He hadn't expected Bro to play along, so he raises an eyebrow as he crawls toward him, wincing ever so slightly at the arm on him and giving Bro a weak smile.]

And man, Murdoc is being kind of fucking adorable right now. Bro just rolls his and, shaking his head lightly.]

Totally. Like, I never realized how fucking nice lying on the floor would be. Damn, I should do this more often.

[Murdoc lets out a content sigh, letting his head move to rest against Bro's shoulder for a moment.]

I could think of another thing to try on the floor. [He lets out a soft chuckle- which physically pains him, and it occurs to him that the idea of sex is just scream inducing.

He remains silent for a moment before he chirps up again.] I think I need to see a nurse.

[That was very hard to say, but Bro needs to understand that Murdoc wants to be carried.]

[He knew it. He totally knew Murdoc would need to see the nurse and that he was just stalling, but nooo. He played along with this floor game anyway. He rolls his eyes lightly, patting Murdoc on the head.]

[There's no way he would have sex with Murdoc in this condition anyway! So he just kind of pulls himself up, picking Murdoc up as he does so and holding him like a majestic bride.]

[The pat on the head, coupled with the nickname are enough to make Murdoc roll his eyes at the other man. His expression does at least soften as he realises Bro was willing to lay on the floor next to him in order to protect his dignity.

It's not quite enough to salvage his pride, particularly not when Bro picks him up like that. He lets out a strained sound, trying not to yelp in pain.]

Could you not have carried me another way?

Would you have preferred I sling you over my shoulder instead?

[That doesn't exactly sound nice for someone who just injured their back.]

Besides. We're lovers, Murdoc. I want the world to know, I got to let it show. [He says the last sentence in a bit of a sing song voice. It's pretty obvious he's quoting some dumb Muggle song.]

I'm sure there's a more dignified manner than this. [He just doesn't know what it is.]
