WHAT: Sherlock's still writing sad music. Tony's got a lot of good going for him.
STATUS: WIP

Sometimes Sherlock did not like words. They were ambiguous, they often carried more than one possible meaning and inference could always be made on honesty. It was for that reason that he preferred music when words would not do. Sometimes when he was angry he just made noise on the violin, screeching out nonsense in place of the static of his rage. When he was happy, there were many songs he knew that would either garner him praise or simply transmit that feeling of approachability and merriment. Though he knew sad songs, none of them felt quite right for this particular wordlessness. Some were sad with an underlying anger, some were sad with despair writing in between the measures. That wasn't what this was. So there was little else to do but make the sounds himself until they made sense and were expressed and existed outside himself as something tangible and real.

He spent most of his free time on it, only ceasing when demanded to by other students. He really didn't care that he was annoying them; he had more important things to do.

Sherlock hopped down from the dresser he'd climbed and stood before him. "Still resolute on coming with me?"

"I have enough to keep me almost mysterious."

Tony straightens his shirt and nods.

"Yeah, 'resolute'. Let's go."

"Such a bother." Sherlock holds his hand out for his wand. First things first.

Raising an eyebrow at him he looks at the hand.

"Okay, what, we're holding hands now?"

"Your wand, idiot."

"Oh. Yeah."

He pulls his wand out of his pocket and holds it up, but not out to Sherlock.

Sherlock gives him a stern look. He's not bullshitting here.

Tony just gives him a bland look. If he wanted it so back he could reach over and just take it.

He tilted his head, as if to say 'well?'

Sherlock does reach over to take it.

Tony doesn't bring any resistance to the taking, putting his hands in his pockets now there's nothing in them.

"Okay, so where from here?"

"Into town to get some floo powder. Is the fireplace here connected to the network or will we have to commandeer a fireplace as well?"

"Hate to tell you this. But I never really look into those things, considering that the only time I've been near that fire place was to climb up it to get away from Bruce once."

Tony gives him a 'be serious' look.
