"The long version," Dirk says immediately. He doesn't even have to think about it. Even if he and Bro hadn't just argued the way they had, he'd still want the long version. There's never a time when Dirk doesn't want the most details that can be provided. Which isn't to say he'll be asking any awkward prying questions. There are things he doesn't actually want to know about Murdoc and Bro's relationship. But the things he didn't get to see first-hand because he wasn't here, those details he wants.

In the meantime, he eats a few more chips, as he waits for Bro to work up the nerve to tell his cheezy romance novel story.
