WHAT: Murdoc wants to both know Feferi better and spoil her for Christmas.

It feels like an eternity since Murdoc had found out about Feferi, yet, he feels as if he hasn't gotten to know her nearly enough. It's been a hellishly busy year and he hasn't been the most pleasant person through it. Feferi, however, had managed to surprise him in both her sincere concern for him and her maturity in a situation he felt himself being childish in.

With most of the issues behind them and the giving season ahead, he feels as if there isn't a better way to thank her for her help than to take her shopping in the finest magic fashion district that London has to offer.

Of course, he feels incredibly awkward. And nervous. What if she doesn't want to spend time with him? What if it's embarrassing to cart your doddering old man around whilst you try to be stylish? What if they can't talk? He just doesn't know. Despite his concerns, he'd arrived at her home on time and he knocks at the door with a leather gloved hand, hoping that she's the one who answers.

Feferi is just as nervous as he is, but she is also excited as well. She feels lucky to finally have her father in life and that she is getting the chance to spend some quality time with him. Hogwarts never does really give them much of an opportunity to spend such time together.

The moment she hears the doorbell ring, she is their within seconds, opens the door and processes to hug him rather tightly, she might of slightly forgotten about his back problems.

"Father!!"

Secretly, Murdoc had always hoped for a daughter. He'd been taught he needs to be strict and harsh with sons so they grew up right. A daughter, however, is allowed to be spoilt and doted on. His thinking is a little dated, but that's what tends to happen in pureblooded families.

He had hoped she'd answer the door, but he hadn't expected such an enthusiastic response. He needs to brace himself as the hurls against him, and he lets out a quiet grunt. Unsurprisingly, he's not much of a cuddly guy, so it takes him a moment to realise what he's meant to do before he wraps his arms back around her and hugs her too.

"Hello to you too, Feferi." He says in a vaguely amused voice, giving her back a pat. "I take it you're excited?"

She already had talk over today's plans with her family, so they all knew that Murdoc was coming over and Feferi insisted that she would be the one to answer the door. She had it all planned out, she even got her grandmother to set up the port key, she was so excited for today.

She hugs him a little tighter before letting go and giving him a smile. Feferi is never going to be say no to being spoiled, besides he knows that she will appreciate it.

"Of course i am!" She giggles and links her arm with his. "The Port Key is ready!! So, whenever we want to go!

If only he knew. His love for his newly found daughter would only increase once he discovered the trouble she went to to both express how excited she is and perhaps unintentionally save him from a couple of incredibly awkward conversations.

He pets her head as she pulls away, trying to return the smile as best he can. When she links arms, he pets her upper arm.

"Lead the way." He announces.

Feferi has every right to hang out with her dad, besides, she knows this might be awkward for her mum, so she tries her best to make things easier for everyone.

She smiles and pulls him through the front door and towards the room in which it has the fire place, Feferi picks up the floo powder, which was in a jar near the fire place, she was certainly prepared for this journey, she then hands some to Murdoc.

"So, where heading to London, right?"

Her mum might feel differently about Feferi hanging out with him. He hasn't exactly earnt the right to be popular with anyone in their family. Except perhaps Feferi, who he shamelessly spoils and indulges. He hadn't expected her to grow on him so quickly, but he quietly feels lucky to have such an endearing and friendly daughter. It might've been harder if she'd been as snippy as Eridan.

He takes the floo powder from her, impressed by how prepared she is. He nods and steps forward as he does.

"Yes, London. Kengsinton, to be exact."

Feferi learnt in the end it would be her decision if she wanted to continue her relationship with her father. Especially after everything that happened, things got complicated for her mother and this left Feferi in a hard position. But she is made the decided to keep trying, besides she knew that she might regret it in the future if she stopped trying to get to know her father.

With Meenah always being the troublemaker in the family, Feferi just grew being the one who always tries to not cause hassle for her family. This is why she was always trying her best to impress her father, she always wanted to know who her father was and now that he was in her life. She was not going to give him up for anything, besides the spoiling Feferi enjoys a lot as well, it's one of her favourite bonuses.

She smiles as he takes the powder and moves towards the fire place.

"I will go first then, catch you on the flip side!"

Feferi enters the fire place and stands in the emerald green flames before going calling out "Kengsinton, London!" and throwing the powder into the flames and disappearing.

Murdoc is glad that somebody seems to be on his side. He's made himself out to be the bad guy for what feels like this entire year. It's a little exhausting, between both of his sons and daughters and their mother and then his relationships and the offspring involved in them. He'd been spread quite thin and it made him feel terribly guilty.

Feferi, at least, seemed to understand. He never felt pressured of guilty around her. He felt like he was actually managing to do a good job. That meant the world to him, of course. The fact that she seems to genuinely enjoy his company means he must be doing something right.

He nods as she steps ahead and raises a hand to wave her off. When she's gone he follows after, arriving and stepping out behind her in what looks like an abandoned store.

"Where to first?" He looks down at her, raising an eyebrow.
