New Year Assemble!

On New Years Eve, Jarvis has the living room set up for guests with chairs and pillows about with a table off to one side with various chips, soft drinks, and sweets. Music playing from a stereo in the corner.

Come dinner time the dinning room table is full of food and drink to enjoy.

Depending on when people show up, Tony can be found either in the garage messing with his kit car, or in the living room, eyeing off the snacks.

Okay, I'll give you the turning in to an adult thing. I'm currently trying to forget that though. We should just memory charm the month away.

I don't know, some of it was kind of interesting.

Besides, the month hasn't been all bad, I mean, there was Christmas. Which you should look under the tree. Unless you've already scoped it out?

[Under the tree are four boxes with her name on each of them. Containing this outfit (The coat in one box, the dress and stockings in another, and the shoes in the las one) and this hat in a box of it's own. however in white, not black.]

Under the tree? [She puts the plate on his lap and rolls off the couch.]

[Tony looks at the plate, shrugs and gets comfortable and starts to eat while watching her.]

You know how I went with Clint because I owed him? Let's just say it got complicated.

[She picks up the boxes with her name on the tag and goes back to sit on the couch again.]

Oh? Did it now?

[He nudges her arm with his elbow when she sits back down next to him again.]

So, that would be why he asked if you were going then didn't show up tonight?

Yes to both. Everything was going fine and then he opened his big mouth and told me that he likes me.

[She starts ripping off the paper because presents are meant to be opened that way.]

[He chuckles at her.]

He followed you like a puppy, how were you even surprised?

[He leans back a bit just so he can watch her open up what he got her.]

Because I thought he had better things on his mind, like aiming at targets. I thought I heard him wrong, apparently not.

[She opens the hat box first and let's out a happy cry.]

You certainly have taste, let me tell you that.

He's a boy, you're a girl. He was aiming for a target alright.

[He grins at her cry.]

[She gives him a side hug and continues opening.]

I just listen to a lot of muggle television.

[He smirks, and gives her a vague hug in return.]

You better wear it, it took Jarvis and I ages to find something that would work for you.

Well don't compare bad muggle television to Clint and I, because we're not going to be like that.

[She holds up the rest of the outfit.]

I don't just listen to bad muggle TV. Well... Coronation street.. But I think in this case you're more like Home and Away or Holly Oaks, at least that's closer to your age.

[He raises an eyebrow at her.]

I get a squeal and a hug for a hat, but just a 'did' good for an entire outfit? The hat was the second cheapest thing you got, here.

[She leans over and gives him a kiss on the cheek.]

The good was in general, and I have a soft spot for hats. I have a good starter collection.

Well, if this is what I get for adding to you collection, maybe I should take you to Oxford Street when we go home, Kensington too.

[Tony pulls a phone from his pocket, opening his camera app and pointing the lens at her while looking at the screen.]

I'd say 'look cute' but that's a given.

Well take me next Christmas. If I have two new ones so close together I won't know which one to wear.

[She gives the camera phone a big smile.]

I got you something too. [She pulls out a small box with a book of hand made coupons to use, like "one free kick Natasha out of the room" coupon.]

There's more than one day in a year. you'll have more than one chance to wear things I get you.

[He snaps a few shots then shows her them.]

You did?

[He leaves his phone with her as he looks through the coupon gift, looking really pleased with it.]

I know that, but I wouldn't want to favor one more than the other.

[She starts going through his phone.]

As long as you're wearing what I've got you, then I'm not going to be too worried about what you favour.

[He doesn't seem to mind, most of the photo's are of cars, a few of the other bittyvengers, as well as the odd anonymous girl.]

[Raising an eyebrow, Tony looks at the phone staring at the image.]

Um, no idea. But that looks like it was at the Guggenheim. So that could have been any number of parties that I had to attend, probably a young achievers function or something.

[He shrugs dismissively.]
