[It rarely seems as if Dirk is the one feeling self conscious. Unless his glasses are off, of course, but Murdoc doesn't relate self conscious feelings back to such gorgeous things.

Murdoc is just going to allow Dirk to do whatever he likes with him at this point. Mostly because he's so close to swooning it's embarrassing.]

[He doesn't have time to finish that sentence before he's scuffling as Dirk dips him. He starts to go red in the face, not quite kissing back as he tries to gather his wits. He's just staring wide-eyed up at Dirk.]

[Murdoc's reaction is nothing short of amusing, but to Bro's credit, he doesn't laugh into the kiss or even really let on to how funny he finds it. He knew this would be a big risk, and he knew that it might unnerve him a little to be in this type of situation. But to Bro, it's worth it. He's just going to keep kissing Murdoc though, supporting his weight as he keeps Murdoc in the dip, arms locked tightly around him. He's going to fucking kiss him until Murdoc forgets everyone else, until it's as if they're the only two in the room. Because that's how Bro feels sometimes, as if he can see Murdoc and only Murdoc. If he can share that feeling, then it'll be fucking worth it.]

[Slowly but surely, Murdoc is feeling that. He'd been scared of being dropped, but he feels supported by Dirk. He knows he isn't going to fall. He can still feel eyes on him, but there's no reason to feel ashamed or scared anymore, is there? The wedding is cancelled, Sybille had left. He's a free man and he makes his own choices.

Good choices.

And while kissing his boyfriend in the school dance may not be considered the most appropriate thing, it feels good. It's liberating. He can feel himself losing himself in the moment more and more as he realises how good Dirk makes him feel.]

[There's absolutely no way that Bro will drop him. He wouldn't ruin the moment by doing something as stupid at that. He's got him in a strong, yet gentle grip and Murdoc ain't going anywhere. It makes him feel good when he can feel Murdoc relaxing into his arms, and that just makes him kiss him more passionately.

While kissing in front of everyone may be pretty inappropriate, there's no denying how good it feels to finally be doing it. To not care what people might be thinking, or to have to hide it. He's waited for this for so long and the fact it's finally here is just nice. Better than nice. It's amazing. He can't help but smile against Murdoc's lips finally, letting out a happy little hum into the kiss.]
