One teen and Two children. No good will come of this.

WHAT: Little Tony and Sherlock have found Bruce asleep in an arm chair. And Tony finds something to make nap time interesting.

Pushing past the door, Tony felt more than a little smug about the fact that he and Sherlock easily answered the riddle to get into the tower. If they could answer those riddles at 5 years old they would decimate the school when they were old enough to come here.

"You know, you need to play in snow more, because you suck at snow ball fig-"

Stopping he looks into the common room to see Bruce comfortably asleep in an armchair. Ignoring Sherlock all of a sudden he wanders up to the chair and taps Bruce's hand, before looking over at Sherlock.

"He's asleep"

He looks at Bruce's prone form

"Little old for naps, aren't you?"

Sherlock waits, leaning in to better inspect Bruce's face. 16? Had a bath yesterday. Doesn't wash out all the conditioner. Habit or function? Small pores on his nose but few blackhead so he's rather conscious of hygiene and good grooming. Probably has a romantic interest he sees daily. Tired at this hour? Stress, likely, possibly to do with the romantic interest.

He pulls down his bottom lip to get a view of his teeth but lets go when Tony comes back because he's been told it's impolite to closely scrutinize people's faces.

As Tony comes back, the inks and two brushes in his hand he frowns at the scrutiny Bruce s unconsciously under. Even at this age, he feels kind of protective of Bruce.

"Hey, quit that. He's not a horse, so stop being weird at him. You aren't allowed. Now hold these while I climb up."

He holds up his treasure and climbs back up onto the his arm of the chair once Sherlock has his hands full.

"He's not yours. You're not related." Sherlock scowls a little but weird is still better than freak. He helps but eyes the items oddly. "What are these for?"

[arrogantalloy]

"Of course he's mine. I found him. It's called finders keepers for a reason, dummy."

Despite the fact he's saying words normally used for insight, the tone in which he uses them makes them sound more like nicknames than anything else.

Reaching over Bruce he takes a paint brush from him and wiggles it in his fingers.

"For being creative, or writing. It's ink. What else is it meant to be for? Do you want the blue, or the black? Because I think I want the black."

He holds out his hand waiting for an ink bottle to be put in his hand.

Sherlock hands over the ink but still isn't sure he gets it. "There's no paper." He looks down at sleeping Bruce's face and his left brow raises. "Oh."

[arrogantalloy]

Tony grins wildly as it dawns on Sherlock, then pat's Bruce's forehead.

"Anything permeable is a canvas on which to make your mark."

He pops the lid off his black ink, resting it on a knee as he dips it in then starts to draw a moustache on Bruce's face. giving a vague look of concentration on his little face.

Sherlock watches him for a second then takes the blue ink and gives Bruce some pretty eye make up like his Aunt wears. Straight up to and rather into the eyebrows. Bruce needed blue freckles too. Maybe blue double chins drawn down his neck?

...This was sort of fun, actually...

Grinning as Sherlock starts to get into it. Tony finishes his moustache, then traces the creases in his forehead. After that he takes a leaf from Sherlock's book and gives Bruce pretty eyelashes at the corners of his eyes.

"Hey, what were you doing when you were staring at him?"

He asks as he starts to give him ink black lips.

Sherlock shrugs, taking great pains to detail saggy chin lines.

"I was trying to get to know him."

[arrogantalloy]

"Get to know him?"

Tony stops inking as he looks at Bruce then at Sherlock.

"That's what talking is for."

[consulting5yearold]

Sherlock shook his head. “People lie. Some things about them don’t, though.”

[arrogantalloy]

Tony blinks at this.

"Really? What does my face say then?"

He taps the bottom of the paintbrush against his chin before glancing away for a moment to put pupils on Bruce's eyelids.

[consulting5yearold]

Sherlock eyed Tony for a minute. "Kids are harder. A lot about a kid is done for them by their parents. You're rich, though. Your parents are well educated. I think you're probably well liked. You act like you expect people to like you. Like it happens all the time."

[arrogantalloy]

He thinks for a second.

"Well no one tells me they don't like me, so I guess everyone does. But Mom and dad are both rich. Dad's even famous."

Tony nods to himself agreeing with Sherlock's basic assessment. Then draws a triangle on Bruce's forehead, the tip pointing down his nose.

Sherlock smiles a little at having gotten it right. He starts drawing curly lines at Bruce's shirt collar like crawly chest hair.

[arrogantalloy]

"But you know what? I can tell things about you with your face too."

Tony glances up at him with a grin.

[consulting5yearold]

"You can?" Sherlock stops mid chest hair and looks up. Only people in his famiyl can do that. That's what Mycroft said. "Like that?"

[arrogantalloy]

"I can tell it's too bare."

He dips his brush in the ink then draws a line from his forehead down his nose.

Sherlock nearly falls off the couch to avoid the paint. Not that his plan works--Tony's already given him a nice stripe.

He considers whining about it but that wouldn't work with the likes of Tony. He rather hopes the other boy likes blue, then, because he's going to get a big blob on his cheek.

"Ugh! That's slimy"

Looking less upset and more amused, Tony simply strikes out more trying to get as much ink on Sherlock's face as possible.

All this activity over him is causing the heavy sleeping log otherwise known as Bruce to stir, frowning and shifting in place but not waking.

Yet.

Sherlock has already upturned the ink bottle into his hand to just grapple inkily with Tony. He smooshes his palms against Tony's cheeks but freezes when he hears Bruce stir.

[arrogantalloy]

Tony makes a loud grossed out noise at being inked up and tries to swat at his face with the brush.

"Ah ha! Take that"

Unlike Sherlock, Tony doesn't notice Bruce stirring.

Bruce makes an irritated noise and opens his eyes, glaring blearily up at the kids. "What are you two do- Sherlock, is that you!?"

Sherlock stares at him until he finds himself smacked with inky brush. His attention is immediatly recaptured by Tony who he once again just tries to grab at with his coated fingers--his hair this time.
