[He's starting to feel like he's always waiting on the other male, it's a feeling he's not very fond of. Even as he knows Sherlock's most likely on his way. Moriarty's gaze flickers over to the window he left open.

Finally with a huff he lays back on his back, staring up at the sky. The tea's getting cold and he has little intention of casting a spell to warm it up if Sherlock is going to be so late. In all honesty he knows he's being dramatic, he's only been waiting for about five minutes. A lack of sleep leads to being impatient though. The blanket he's laid out was doing nothing to save his back from the firm surface of the castle roof but he doesn't seem to mind, drifting into something almost related to sleep as he stares up.]

[Sherlock headed up at the requested time, a little surprised by the set up once he arrived there. It was certainly more than he expected.]

Wouldn't it have been easier just to have met in the dining hall for tea?

[He observes him for a moment, the shrug he gave in response not really coming across, seeing as he was laying on his back.]

Wanted to do something more special for you, dining hall's boring.

[Jim gives him a lazy smile.]

Is this unsatisfactory?

No, it's.... fine. Just fine.

[Sherlock took a seat, making himself comfortable.]

[Moriarty finally sat up to make them both tea.]

This one's new, it's rather good.

[When he'd finished sorting Sherlock's tea out he offered it to him with a smile, he seemed to be in a good mood recently.]

[Sherlock accepted it, looking around still. An out door picknic in winter seemed odd but he was certainly thankful for the scarf.]

Something you brought with you from home?

[He nodded as he went to fix his own tea.]

If you get cold, say something.

[Someone was certainly excited that Sherlock was wearing the scarf he gave him.]

I enjoy this.

[Sherlock warmed his hands on the mug of tea.]

It’s nice enough. You’re not bored out here?

No. I can appreciate a good view and additionally great company.

[He watched the other boy, curiosity showing.]

Bit of a headache though.

[He took a sip of the warm tea and closed his eyes.]

You don't like it out here?

No, it's fine. Just... winter.

[He sipped his tea. In contrast to the cold, it was almost nicer, really.]

It's fine for a while, though. Something different.

Indeed it is.

[Moriarty fell quiet for a long moment, thinking. When he spoke up again it was a different topic entirely.]

What do you want?

[It wasn't rude, it was curious.]

Can’t think of anything at the moment.

[A nod, he'd accept that answer.]

Are you still curious to what I want? I'm speaking in general. Ask me again. I've been thinking about it.

[Sherlock angled his head slightly. Interesting set up.]

Alright. What do you want?

[Dusky amber eyes caught Sherlock's.]

You to want me.

[A simple enough answer, perhaps from anyone else, Jim never wanted anyone to want him, not for real. He didn't even seem to mean it sexually. There was an odd innocence behind it.]

I don't typically think like that, I'm sure you're already aware of that. You're different. Yeah, it's hard to explain really - you're special.

[Sherlock considered that for a moment, hands still holding the mug against both palms for warmth.]

You want symbiosis? I think we’re both a little too far on the parasitic side of things to agree to that being in any way possible.

[He shook his head in disapproval, looking out at the view.]

I disagree and I think you do too. Why else would you continue to keep my company? Please don't make me point out all the reasons boredom can be disqualified from the answers you could give me.

[Moriarty knew he gained far more from the other than Sherlock did from him.]

[Sherlock took a sip, taking his time.]

And what does wanting you entail? Wanting to be around you? Wanting to attend social gatherings together? Wanting to stay close and connected after we graduate? Neither of us needs that sort of attachment. In fact, I imagine it would be a burden.

[Moriarty brought his own tea back to his lips taking a sip before answering.]

I'm not sure, Sherlock. I'm not telling you what to do. I'm telling you what I wished and wishing you wanted me is all I really know how to put it.

[His tone was sharp, defensive but not offensive.]

It's not even something you have to pay mind to, just a musing.

[Sherlock nodded.]

I'll keep it in mind.

Your ears are going red.

[He fell silent, allowing Sherlock to choose what he wanted to converse about next. Jim placed his cup down next to him and grabbed a folded blanket he had brought in case he got cold, holding it to Sherlock.]

[Sherlock accepted the blanket and pulled it over his shoulders. He was rather intolerant of cold. This was better.]

Anything interesting happen to you these past few days?

Mmm, I finally bought the last of your presents, other than that, nothing really worth mentioning, and you?

[He leaned back, laying back down on his back to stare at the dull grey sky.]

I was turned into a child apparently. Bruce says Tony and I got on like a house on fire.

[Sherlock smirks a little. His memory has always been good but even so, memories of Tony when he was young are very.. feint.]

Pity I missed it. I'm sure you were adorable as a child, Tony as well.

[Someone had been turned little and sulking the whole time, not that he had any intention of mentioning that though.]

All better now I see, couldn't allow me a day of superior height.

[He cracked a smile as he stared at the sky.]

No, sorry. Tony was rather in control.

[He smiled. The tea and blanket had warmed him right up. It was actually quite nice outside now.]

I don't think it had anything to do with the black magic attacks. Seemed just one of the many fluke occurrences here in Hogwarts.
