WHERE: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
WHAT: Due to visiting holiday ghosts, some students and staff find themselves living in the past...and a great deal younger than they're used to. But not all of them, so I hope they know how to babysit!

[Nope, Rhys, she's talking to you, looking right at you.]

Ah.. the hospital wing, please.

[grandhighwizard]

What's wrong with you? [tugging on a bit of his hair, frowning]

[notyourmum]

I'm not sure, but I think that something is.

[She moves just a little closer to him, clasping her hands in front of her.]

I woke up in a room I didn't recognise, it looked like a professor's room! And.. I don't know anyone.

[grandhighwizard]

[Rhys raises his eyebrows as she moves closer, crossing his arms over his chest defensively.]

Oh. [So had he, and there had been all these excellent, but slightly disturbing paintings everywhere, and a lot of other interesting stuff that he'd gone through hurriedly, hoping the owner of the room wouldn't show up while he was.]

Come on, then. [will turn to head down the hall to lead her to the nurse, then]

Thank you!

[She hurries along beside him, having to walk quickly to match his long strides, but she sticks close, not wanting to lose him.]

What's your name?

[grandhighwizard]

Rhydderch. [He glances over at her surreptitiously. He's guessing from the way she talks she's one of those do-gooder types - that makes a little more sense. Why she'd try to be nice to someone like him. She looks around the same age, though, he can't think of why he wouldn't have seen her in classes.]

Who're you? What year?

[notyourmum]

I'm Dolores.

[If she's noticed how suspiciously he's viewing her, she's not making any mention of it. Dolores has been called a do-gooder before, and a meddler, and many other things besides, but she never takes any of it to heart.]

Sixth year. I don't think I've seen you before, though..

[grandhighwizard]

Oh, Rhys, then. [corrects himself, speaking over her in his haste not to look stupid]

... I'm 6th, too. That doesn't make any sense. We should have classes together. Who've you got for Potions?

[notyourmum]

Rhys.

[That's much easier to pronounce that what she assumed to be his surname, and she looks up at him again at the question.]

Professor Murphy.

[grandhighwizard]

Murphy? ... no, that's not right, it should be Althorp. [Althorp would have been the professor when Dolores started, her first year - she left the year after Rhys finished his school himself.] I've never heard of any Murphy.

[notyourmum]

... Althorp left, a few years ago.

[She stops walking, and frowns.]

You are either lying, or there is something stranger than I thought happening here.

[grandhighwizard]

I'm not lying. [says sullenly, as if he's used to people accusing him of this. He shoves his hands in the pockets of his robe and scowls at the floor.] But obviously something strange is happening. What year do you think it is?

[notyourmum]

[She puts her hands behind her back, looking down as she replies. Dolores is getting a horrible feeling, and she doesn't like it one bit.]

1974.

[grandhighwizard]

[No, that's not right, it's '67, and he knows it! He frowns at her suspiciously, as though he thinks she's made it up.] No, it's not. That's ridiculous. We'd best ask the nurse when we get there, she'll set it straight.
