( How lucky for you, but said traitor does show up. He's used to being up late, but he still looks a tad tired - or at the very least, nervous. ) Ah, there you are.

I was beginning to doubt you would even show up.

[His tone is icy and not at all how he should be talking to a professor. Someone left their manners in the castle.]

I had some papers to grade. ( He won't comment on that just yet. ) What is it that you so desperately wanted to talk to me about, hmm? I wouldn't think someone such as you would be so happy to meet with a "traitor" like me.

Oh believe me, the sight of you makes me sick. I'd love nothing more than to just strike you down.

But you're luckier than you even deserve. You may not realize it, when I come of age I was to be used to get rid of traitors. In fact, you were going to be the one I hunted down first.

But you've come to me and made it all easier. As for why you're lucky, though. Vader's given me orders not to act until I hear from him. Until then, I'm supposed to make sure you don't do anything stupid. Like run, or try and tell the Ministry who I am.

( His eyes narrow at that. ) Striking down a Professor would definitely be a reason to get you expelled, let alone a one way ticket to Azkaban.

And me, really? I'm flattered.

And I won't have a reason to tell the Ministry who you are if you don't do anything stupid yourself. I'm not one to send a child to Azkaban for the rest of his life.

And yet I would really have no reason to get caught, would I? No one knows we're out here. What reason would they have for suspecting me?

[He rolls his eyes.]

Your personality is infuriating. You're a traitor, standing in front of someone who could easily kill you, and yet you have the nerve to treat this as if it's a game? And call me a child? I'm not a child.

None right now, but I still have a few contacts that would be willing to look into things.

You are a child, especially to someone over ten years your senior. And don't think I'd die so easily - even though I was a traitor, as you so often like to state, I did fight. I did learn more dark magic than I care to know. I am not someone to trifle with.

And yet, the Ministry would never suspect anything if I claimed I was defending myself against a Death Eater. I could say you were trying to shut me up, that I was causing too much trouble at school.

Believe me, I have more than enough evidence that shows you're guilty of Death Eater activities of your own free will.

And don't flatter yourself. I know more about the Dark Arts than you ever could.

( He's quiet for a moment, fear and anger ripping through him. Really, he just wanted to move past all this nonsense, and now he has this on his plate. ) There's an ex-Auror at this school that may not buy that as well as you might think.

...You do? That's funny, since even I'm not sure of when it was my own free will anymore. How on earth could you have any evidence?

That I wouldn't even begin to deny.

Vader has his ways. He may not always share everything with me, but he's given me all the proof I need to be able to put you in prison if I wanted to. And like I said, I could probably even kill you and I'd barely get so much as a slap on the wrists.

Whether or not you believe me is your choice, though. I'm getting... used to people's doubts. And it's only going to be all the more amusing when they're actually proved wrong. Including you.

But I'm not about to defy Vader's orders. I'm going to let you live for now, until he decides what to do with you.

Somehow I doubt that. ( Well, he's worried. But still. What exactly could this kid know? ) And how kind. Just where is Vader, anyway? I heard he disappeared.

There are some things Vader keeps to himself, for obvious reasons, and one of those things would be his location. But you can rest assured that he's perfectly safe, and will be here eventually to deal with you.

I guess I'll just have to keep an eye out then, won't I.

Yes, you will.

[And he really has nothing more to say to you, so he turns away and starts walking back in the direction of the castle.

His hand itches to reach for his wand and turn around and curse him. But he resists. Even if the temptation is nearly overwhelming.]

( Antonio's just going to watch him walk away, trying to let his nerves calm down. He'll just have to be careful around this student. )
