I'm really alright with not ordering anything. I don't have that much of a sweet tooth, and I've always been a coffee person.

Well it's hardly fair that you're going to treat me to something lovely like this but not be apart of it yourself, Gregory.

[She pouts him a little]

[Why does she have to be that difficult? He sighs; when she's pouting it's hard for him to say no.]

Well, I'll just have...a little bit then.

Well if you'll share then I think wee'll have a slice of strawberry torte, and a pot of peppermint tea.

[She gives him a sweet and pleased smile.]

[He just can't win. After the order's placed, he leans back on his chair slightly and looks around idly; there really were a lot of couples around them. It brings to mind some of the earlier conversations he was having with others, John's especially. If the older boy knew that they were having tea time at Madam Puddifoot's, Greg would never hear the end of it. It's silly, really. He and Victoria are just friends. They didn't really look coupley, and he didn't feel anything about her in that way at all.

He sneaks a look back at her, wondering how they came so far in such a short period of time. Actually, now that he notices, she's actually got quite a nice figure. Not too busty, not too slim, but just right. And she had pretty hands. His thumb twitches against the rough skin of his palm, calluses from the hard work he's done; a stark reminder of the difference in their worlds.]

[Looking around herself, Victoria is more caught up in looking at the kitschy paintings of children running around with kites and small animals, rolling hills in a forest or a mountain range. She thought all of them really sweet and rather pretty.

Unaware she was being looked at she brushed hair away from her face, then twirled a lock around her finger absently for a moment before realising Greg was looking at her, and she looks at him curiously, tilting her head slightly at him.]
