Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop

[Kurloz has run out of his favourite indigo ink from all this note-writing and he's in need of a new notebook for communicating with the students. Observe the tall gangly kid with heavy eyeliner marvelling at the gorgeously coloured inks.]

[He observes, for a few moments, then he's peering around his best friend's arm while he taps the opposite shoulder and grins widely.]

[Of course glances towards the side he's been tapped before turning in a full circle to grin down at Mituna.]

Hi. How are you Tuna?

[Yes, he signed 'tuna' fish for Mituna.]

[Very funny, Kurloz. He bats at the boy's hands at that sign, giggling under his breath.]

I'm okay. Are you buying something?

[innocent_insanity]

[Grins at the boy's reaction and nods, gesturing at the ink he was perusing.]

I'm almost finished with my ink and note paper.

They have some purple, right?

[If they don't you can bet Mituna will be haring off to find some.]

[Nods and resumes staring over the inks and gets the indigo shade he usually keeps stock of, getting a couple of bottles rather than just the one.]

Are you getting anything?

[helmetdoesnothing]

I got mine already.

[And, of course, the way he phrases 'get mine' in sign makes it far more of an innuendo than it has to be.]

[Shoulders shake with laughter at the innuendo and he shakes his head, heading for check-out.]

I'm sure you did.

[helmetdoesnothing]

[He's smirking a bit as he follows, hanging back while his friend pays for his ink. Mituna doesn't much like being in shops where people are crowding him, but he's focusing so intently on Kurloz that he barely notices.]

[Kurloz quickly gets the payments done and practically drags Mituna out of the shop so they can get some air.]

Did you come by yourself today?

Yes.

[As soon as he's regained his balance from being dragged out of the shop, he signs back.]

I think Latula is here but I haven't seen her yet.

[Waggles brows and grins.]

Are you thinking of taking your lady out for a cozy date?

[helmetdoesnothing]

[The boy grins lopsidedly and shrugs.]

Maybe. She likes dates.

[Shoulders shake and he grins, putting an arm around Mituna's shoulders and giving him a quick noogie.]

You should then. Madame Puddifoots? But Latula's not a super girly girl so maybe she would like Three Broomsticks better?

[helmetdoesnothing]

[Mituna makes a sound that reminiscent of what a keysmash might sound like if verbalised, and bats Kurloz's hands away from his head.]

She would like Three Broomsticks better but is that a good place for a date?

[Grins and releases Mituna.]

Isn't the point of a good date to spend time with each other? Three Broomsticks should be as good a place as any.
