Gladrags Wizard Wear

[Marshall is inside the clothing shop staring helplessly at the displays of dress robes. He has to buy a set for the upcoming Yule Ball but he has absolutely no clue of what kind to buy. In his opinion they all look horrible and if it were an option he'd just go in jeans and his flannel.]
Someone want to help a poor fashion challenged vampire out?

[Your professor is equally as lost. If possible, he'd prefer to avoid the Yule Ball; it's not really his kind of party. But teachers have to come, so Coulson has to get a set of dress robes. Only problem being that he'd rather come in a Muggle suit than any of these things. A slight frown form on his face as he half-heartedly plucks at the sleeves of one.]

[Marshall notices Coulson also looking equally unhappy about shopping. In an odd way it makes him feel a little better.]

You too huh? I have no idea what to get when it comes to these things.
[He pauses for a moment as he remembers something.]
At least they're a little less ugly than they used to be.

Honestly?

[His voice drops to a whisper as he pulls one out that doesn't look as bad as the others.]

Wizarding fashion has never been on par with Muggle fashion, in my opinion. I feel like half of these came from the 1800s. No offence, Mr Lee, but I'd rather wear something a little more up-to-date. Less...

[He pulls at the lace and frowns.]

...lacey.

[Marshall laughs.]
No offense taken at all. Despite having been born then, I actually agree with you. Wizard fashion was awful then and it's awful now.

[He makes a face at the one Coulson pulls out.]

It's still horrible. I'd rather wear a suit myself to be honest.

You and me both.

[He places the robe back where he found it. There really wasn't any he liked at all.]

I might just do that, actually. Wear a Muggle suit. Maybe I can start a new fashion statement with wizards. What do you think, Mr Lee?

[A private joke; he's often been accused by his old girlfriend that he had the most boring fashion sense in the world. He had to privately agree with her; his entire wardrobe seemed to be made out of formal wear.]

And for me that's saying a lot. I can't even remember the last time I actually wore dress clothes.

[Marshall laughs. Anything would help Wizard fashion in his eyes.]
I think it would be rather dashing. If I had a way I could get ahold of one I'd do the same thing.
Besides, you could always spice it up with a colorful shirt or an interesting tie.
