[He frowned, eyebrows knitting together in aggravation.]
Don't make me web you to your bed.

He just told you to go to bed. It's called irony.
[Sherlock scowled, taking a deep breath.]
I don't want to be in Ravenclaw if other people can see or hear this. I'll be fine on my own.
no subject
Hey, how about you do us all a favour and shut it?
[His gaze was just as sharp when he turned it to Sherlock.]
Right, mister lone wolf, you'll do fine on your own with him harassing you and you, well you know, chucking books at him. See, you've got this all taken care of, except you don't. Now, you can lock me in all the broom closets you want and make all the "dur hurr he's coming out of the closet" jokes, I don't care. I'm not leaving you alone to suffer. You know me better than that.
[He grinned.]
Just the other night I had this horrid dream that this big purple American t-rex was trying to convince me to go near the window so he could eat me. I woke up strangely terrified, how does that even constitute as a nightmare? Really, I don't think he can say anything more embarrassing than that.

Don't be melodramatic. I'm not suffering. And I don't need or want companionship.
Wrong.
[Scowl. God, that thing needs to shut up.]
I wasn't aware that this... thing was broadcasting to where others could hear. Now that I know there is something decidedly wrong going on, I need to work on fixing it. And I prefer to do that alone.

I'm pretty good at helping when it comes to fixing things. And look, he's stopped talking as much, I think he likes me.
If I had an annoying me clone running around telling everyone silly things about me I would be pretty freaked out. I mean, let's be honest here, I kind of freak out when you do your whole deduction thing.
So, where first, boss?
[Smiiile.]

[Sherlock was not impressed with Parker's 'helpfulness'. Not in the least. He was obviously going to have to spell it out and he was less than interested in being that forward.]
It's not what it's saying that is distressing. It's that you and who knows who else can hear it. And I don't want you to.
Even though it's for the best.

[His smile faded into a frown]
But I don't care what he says. So what if you have a neurological disorder, so what if you're lonely, so what if your favourite color is pink, or you like Hello Kitty. I don't care. What I do care about is you being upset, and I want to help. And so help me if you tell me I can help by going away I will chase you down with my broom and batter you with it!
When I was eight I gorilla glued my hand to a table on accident, so what? My aunt and uncle thought there was something wrong with me when I was little because I didn't talk to anyone, my age or otherwise. I'm one of the dumbest Ravenclaws, so what?
We can exchange our life stories in the form of horrifying facts, I don't care.
I can help.

Wand left back in his dorm and options limited with the web, Sherlock did what any self-respecting five year old does: he put his hands over his ears and closed his eyes. He didn't have to do anything he didn't want to do. One way or another.]
We are a paradigm of maturity.

[He took a step closer, unsure of what to do. Then he turned his attention to the shade.]
Is there really nothing I can do to help?

He's a painfully obstinate man. And a very vulnerable one, even when he holds his cards close to his heart. He does not relinquish control easily and I doubt he'll accept help from anyone so long as he feels it would make him lesser in comparison. I'd say blame his older brother but really someone has to keep a close eye on him. He's simply not capable of functioning on his own and someday he's going to have to learn to accept that. And to accept the help that's offered.
