Although there were a few bumps and agitated on the way there, Maxim was feeling pretty stoked about the first gathering of the fight club. He almost wished he'd gotten around to setting it up sooner, if only because he'd been feeling pretty antsy lately as it was without Mamma's famous nightly bar fights to indulge in. Not to mention all the weird little verbal fights he'd been getting himself into. Clearly, he really just needed to work all that stuff out! And now he can.

And really, he couldn't have picked a better place to do it, either. The Dueling classroom was already perfectly set up and equipped in case of accidents, all he really needed to do was throw up a few signs, and he was set. One listed a few rules and guidelines (mostly thought up on the fly to appease Greg's worries), and there was a big sign with huge, glittery purple letters that said "These people are not for fighting!" over an area with benches and bowls of popcorn for audience members.

And then there was Maxim, plopped down on the floor, wrapping bandages around his hands as he waited for people to show up. He wasn't shirtless just yet, but he was wearing a plain white tank top and short red gym shorts, his usual cowboy boots traded in for plain, battered sneakers. With hair tied back into a loose ponytail, he was all ready and raring to go!

"That was me pointing out the obvious to you, hardly anything else." He bats Maxim's hand away irritably, but he's in good spirits as well. "And I'm glad you took my advice. You've got good rules here, hopefully they'll help prevent accidents from happening."

Greg rolls his eyes and sets his bag down on the ground. "Who says I'll be doing any fighting today? I just came to give you support, that's all. I've got homework I need to do; bit tough to write out that essay on Cheering Charms if your heads been knocked around."

"I thought you might have a punching bag I could use," Greg admitted. "Fighting's not really my thing, but I do miss being able to box."

He scowls slightly at that. "Boxing isn't just punching. I've already told you, it's a sport that requires skill and discipline. It's for fitness purposes."

"Well that's you. I don't really care on how...sexy...my body is."

Wow, that was slightly awkward. Greg coughs a little before he looks around and spots the non-combatant area.

"I'll just be over there then. I'll see about a little sparing, but I'm not promising anything."
