The name is Sherlock Holmes.

WHO: Greg Lestrade and Sherlock Holmes
TONE: Learning.
RATING: PG-13
WHEN: 28th September
WHERE: Library
WHAT: Greg's just doing his homework in the library where he finally meets Sherlock Holmes.
STATUS: Ongoing
NOTE: Not at the moment.

Well, he took the advice over the journals and went through his homework properly. And at least he was alone in the library so he could work in peace and quiet. The only sounds that could be heard was the scratching of his quill, his quiet breathing, and the slow crackle of the lit candles all around. Head bent over the piece of parchment, he swore silently over the length of the homework. It looked like he was going to be here all night.]

"What's common about making sense?" Sherlock maded a face and put his notebook down for a second. "If intelligence was common, why then would intelligence the leading trend among only one-fourth of the houses at Hogwarts? Right there you're putting the sample of clever students alone at 25% occupancy in this school--not accounting for individual variables. The worst thing you can do is thinking the common way is the right way. Progress is often times the product of rethinking what is common with new insight and information. For instance, a common thought and common enough mistake could be concluding that because you are a student at Hogwarts, you intend to make a living in the magic world. It's reasonable and statistics would make it an almost certainty. However, your lack of passion despite dutiful adherence--as indicated in your forceful quill strokes and the bold typeface--says something else entirely. Should one go with common sense or with the truth?"
