It started like a typical meeting for supplementary lessons. Dirk wasn't even one of Murdoc's students. Murdoc didn't even teach potions, and yet here they were. Murdoc knew enough, and Dirk wanted to learn more. For some unknown reason, Dirk liked being around Murdoc so this arrangement worked well enough. But then Dirk's imagination got the best of him. He was daydreaming a la Jack Sparrow when, without even realising it, he started seriously thinking of himself as a real life pirate! Abruptly, he pushed his book aside and stood on the table, arms akimbo. "Arr, Captain! Let's go find some booty!"

Loki was just walking down the halls, probably on his way to the library do do more reading. Unfortunately he wasn't paying much attention to the world around him, as his nose was in a book as he walked, and was therefore in a rather easily startled state.

[So, Murdoc isn't entirely sure why he keeps offering to spend so much time around Dirk, but he certainly isn't regretting it. He almost wishes he took Gryffindor because he's never taught such an annoyingly pleasant student. Even if he tends to ask an assload of questions, it's nice for a student to seem interested for once.

He hasn't noticed Dirk daydreaming, so he doesn't quite notice the transition. All he knows know is that they are here with a purpose. To loot this castle for all its worth and set sail.

He slams his own hands down on the table, growling in response.]

HURRAH! It be a fine day to pillage, lad! Follow me! [He pushes his chair away, swaggering toward the door.]

[All of these goings on are very strange indeed and Dolores is more than a bit shaken up by recent events as she makes her way through one of the quieter areas of the school.

Quiet.. but perhaps not for much longer. Is that shouting she hears..? Young Dirk Strider and.. Professor Donoghue?]

[Oops, that book is getting snatched out of your hands.]

Pleasure doin' business with you. [He's going to keep walking with it.]

[Loki turns on his heel to catch up with whoeve- wait, that's a teacher]

[Yes, Dolores, that is exactly what you hear. Murdoc is going to swagger down the hall with Dirk on his shoulders. Dirk is holding everything they've attempted to steal thus far and, after wishing for rum, Murdoc is pretty damn happy.

When he sees Dolores, he leers.]

Well, well, well. What've we got here?

[Well, isn't this a funny sight? Not something she would have expected from Murdoc. Dolores can't help but be amused, and she presses two fingers to her lips as they curve in a smile]

Oh my stars, pirates? Whatever shall I do?

[He takes a step forward.]

I've got two suggestions for yeh. One, yeh come along quietly. Two, yeh run. [MWAHAHAHA]

[He turns ever so slightly to raise an eyebrow at Loki.]

[Still thinking this is just, well, pretend, Dolores shakes her head a little and moves to pass him]

[Someone kill Eridan. This was like the last thing he wanted to happen, to be honest. He'd take being a girl if not for the fact that he still had that stupid lisp AND his accent. Ugh.

Except he's actually braving the halls right now in his current state, which is probably not the best choice at all considering he doesn't actually want to be seen. Why he doesn't just stay in the dungeon for the remaining time as a girl, it was such a mystery.

... Also what is that noise he's hearing. That sounds absolutely obnoxious.]
