[Welcome to the hospital wing! Perhaps you are a visitor to a patient, or an unfortunate individual who has managed to injure themselves in a Potions accident or an incident in Herbology. Maybe you just need a smile and a friendly ear for your problems, or a mild Calming Draught to help you sleep.

Whatever it is that you require, when the door to the ward is pushed open the first sound to be heard is that of a soft humming, and light footsteps moving across the room. Dolores Maryam looks fairly young, but there's a motherly atmosphere about her as she turns and smiles enquiringly]

[He laughs.]
I was turned when I was sixteen so I'll always be sixteen at heart. I just don't make quite as many dumb decisions.
...well, almost.

Don't think that will work as an excuse if I catch you misbehaving, young man.

[Dolores stands, and brushes the creases out of her skirts]

Although, I was thirty-one, and I still make.. 'dumb decisions', on occasion.

[He salutes]
Yes ma'am.

Oh? [He puts his chin in his hands and smirks] Anything you'd care to elaborate on?

Hmm.

[She presses two fingertips to her lips, then laughs merrily and shakes her head]

I shall tell you when you're older.

[Look, she can crack vampire jokes too]

[D'oh. You've got him there Dolores. He cracks up.]

Nice one! I guess I can't argue that one.

[She laughs as well, and gives his shoulder a squeeze]

You are doing alright, aren't you, dear?

[marshall_lee]

[He nods]

Yeah, all things considered I think I'm good. I'll let you know if I'm...not.

I hope you will. You're not alone here, Marshall.. Don't forget that.

[marshall_lee]

I won't. And..well, I'm here too if you ever need someone to talk to.

I know.

[She leans down, and gently kisses his forehead]

[marshall_lee]

[With all the potion in his system Marshall actually manages to blush a little and he mumbles a small]

..."you're welcome."

[Dolores smiles, and glances around them, then speaks quietly]

You're not too old to be giving me a hug, are you?

[marshall_lee]

[Still blushing he laughs.]
I don't think anyone is ever too old for that.
[He grins and opens his arms up wide.]

I'm so glad that you think so.

[And with no further ado, she wraps her arms around the other vampire in a warm embrace]

[marshall_lee]

Hey, vamps have needs too.
[He wraps his arms around her too and gives her a gentle hug.]

[Dolores gives the other a small squeeze, then lets him go, tapping gently under his chin with one curled finger]

I do enjoy our talks.

[marshall_lee]

[He smiles at her and stands up to leave.]
