[Greg raises an eyebrow at the fancy display of flying. Still, at least it's tiny proof that Roxas' has got the skills to at least keep on the broom. Not that Greg was worried that the other boy wouldn't pass the tryouts (he secretly felt that Roxas was a shoe-in candidate anyway), but any evidence of him keeping his skills sharp was good.]

Sorry if I kept you waiting. I had to go grab the balls and Peeves was making a racket. Bloody poltergeist.

S'that your new broom? It's a beaut. Mind if I take a closer look for a little while?

[He gives a bit of a dorky grin as he hops off his broom, spinning the Quaffle around on one finger like it was a basketball or something before tossing it up into the air and catching it with the same hand. He's probably one of the more athletic Hufflepuffs around, but he doesn't make a show of it.

Ugh, Peeves. Doesn't he know today's important? And sure, here you go.

[Roxas hefts his broom up and hands it over.]

[He can appreciate a good broom, that's for sure. His own is a second-hand very old model; it's definitely not as fast as some of the newer brooms and turns very sharply. It took him a lot of practise to not get thrown off his broom in the beginning of 2nd year. Roxas' broom is definitely something he likes. After a few minutes of inspection he passes it back to the other boy.]

Brilliant broom Roxas. With your skill, hopefully we'll be able to get some Quaffles pass the Keepers. You ready for your tryouts?

[Roxas takes his broom back and gives the older boy a thumbs up, shouldering his broom. If his grin could get wider it probably would've.]

You know I am. I've been living for tryouts since I got back.

Alright then. Up in the air you go.

[Greg himself takes position at the goalposts.]

You know the drill Roxas. Get the Quaffle past me.

Alright. Here I come.

[Strapping a pair of goggles back around his eyes, Roxas hops onto his broom and rises into the air, Quaffle tucked under his arm. Without much warning, he does a few fancy movements mostly composing of a Woollongon Shimmy before he tosses the ball into the air and spinning to smack it Greg's way with the tail of his broom.]

[The ball sails right past, narrowly missing Greg's fingers by an inch. Still, there's a grin on Greg's face as he looks backs to Roxas.]

Good lad! You've still got your touch! 9 balls to go!
