[Merida is at the pitch right on time, eagerly on the look-out for Gryffindors who are trying out. She's got that glint in her eyes that shows she means business.]

[Tavros shows up fairly early, broom in hand and looking very excited. Also slightly nervous, but mostly excited. He hasn't tried out for the Quidditch team since the accident, and now that it's mooostly behind him, he's fairly confident in himself! Hopefully this will go well.

He gives a happy wave to Merida.]

[She gives the boy a wave in return, wearing a grin.]

You look in high spirits!

[John is bright, early and ready, broom on his shoulder, and goggles on.]

[So Thor isn't super early, but he's sure as hell not late for this. He has a very casual, confident demeanour about this, even if he's up against some great players. All of his nerves are channelled into excitement and he strides up to the pitch with a big smile.]

Good morning! Where do you want me?

[Lestrade's ready to rumble! He's got the Quidditch balls all ready, and he's doing some light warm-ups himself. All interested Hufflepuffs, this is the man you need to impress!]

[Roxas is already in the air on his new broom. He's been pretty much dying to try it out since he bought it at the Diagon Alley festival, and what do you know? It flies like a charm. They don't call it the Shooting Star for nothing. Spotting Greg, he grins before looping down until he was hovering just above the ground, using a sneaker to kick up the Quaffle into his hands.]

It's about time you got here, slowpoke.

[Greg raises an eyebrow at the fancy display of flying. Still, at least it's tiny proof that Roxas' has got the skills to at least keep on the broom. Not that Greg was worried that the other boy wouldn't pass the tryouts (he secretly felt that Roxas was a shoe-in candidate anyway), but any evidence of him keeping his skills sharp was good.]

Sorry if I kept you waiting. I had to go grab the balls and Peeves was making a racket. Bloody poltergeist.

S'that your new broom? It's a beaut. Mind if I take a closer look for a little while?

[Feferi is steady to go and excited as ever!! She got her broom and she dresses appropriately for try outs and she goes down to the pitch to see Greg already warming up, she calls out to him.]

You've got a mean swing there, Greg.

[Bonnibel looks nervous, to say the least. She arrived early to do a little more practice, to get more of a feel for the pitch, but the more laps around it she does, the more nervous she's getting. She's touching down right about now. Any words?]

Hey, you're proper good, you know!

[Oh look, sure is Peter sitting on the ground next to his broom calling out to her. A grin ever present on his face as he waves.]

With talent like you're I'm kind of afraid to even try out.

[Tony said he should give it a go though...]

[Peter looks dreadfully unenthusiastic about this, a ghost of a pout ever present on his lips as he stares at his broom, this was a bad idea, he was going to make a fool of himself in front of Tony Stark. He presses the heels of his hands into his eyes as if trying to ward off a headache that he didn't have... yet.]

[Coraline had been there for ages when she notices Peter looking like someone had just died instead of being completely psyched for Quidditch. She makes her way over and pats him on the back.]

Dude, don't stress. You'll psych yourself out before you even give yourself a chance to show how awesome you are.

[Tony shows up late to try outs. But for once his showing up late was on purpose, as he wanted to see what would happen without him. He watched some get extra flying in, and others talk amongst themselves.

He was scoring all of them in his head from the second he saw them all.

Soon enough he strode out onto the pitch, he had a casual grin on his face and had charmed the quidditch trunk to levitate behind him so he didn't have to deal with all the awkward weight.]

Alright. Everyone away from brooms and over here. Beaters on my left, Then Keepers, Chasers, and last beaters. And if you don't know where you want to try out I want you with me. You're going to be useful right now.

[When Tony wanted to, he could sound quite capable of being a leader.]

[Dark eyebrows raised a mixture of being impressed and shocked. Once he was done giving orders Peter looked down at the ground as he rubbed the center of his palm with his thumb, trying to get rid of his anxiety over the matter. He didn't know what he wanted to try out for and Tony's demand for that made it pretty ominous. He stood there awkwardly for a moment, just staring at the ground as if it was the most interesting thing in the world as he thought then without warning, turned and starting walking back the way he had originally come.

Would uncle Ben really be proud of him just walking away?

He stopped after a few paces, bit his lip, closed his eyes and turned back around with a sigh. This was going to be horrid. With a deep breath he opened his eyes and started back toward Tony.]

Yeah, that's me, no idea what I want to try out for.

[Despite any doubts people may have had about her Captaining skillzzz Georgia is on the pitch at the crack of 8:30 ready to see whoever tries out. Impress her (if you can!)]

[And Marina is late. So very late. After everyone else has already tried out. She makes it around the time Georgia might be packing up and ready to leave, as if someone caught her trying to skip and sent her over forcefully.

She doesn't look very happy.]

Alright, let's just get this shit over with. Tell me I'm not cut out for the team and let me get back to stuff I actually care about.

[Okay, he's so done with trying to talk himself out of this then back into it again. He said he'd try out and he's here, bright and early, with every intention to impress]

[Marceline is just about right behind Georgia in terms of earliness, though not without looking a little ruffled. She didn't sleep well. She gives a yawn as she shoulders her broom, looping her arms around it and waving at her older housemate. Luckily for her there were clouds out this early in the morning.]
