I can understand that. But we need to also give them space if we hope to see them flourish.

No need to apologize. [She feels the same about Dave.]

It is. She has been looking forward to coming here for awhile. I think it was partly because she looks up to me in a way. [She's actually flattered about it.]

Rose Lalonde. I'm a fourth year in the Slytherin House. I've seen you around, but I don't think we've properly spoken.

[She nods.] That's true, she probably tries and pushes me away more if i keep trying to protect her so much.

[Feferi can't help but aww at the cutest of her cousin.] She sounds like she treats you more like a sister then. Which is really cute i must say.

Well it's nice to meet you Rose! I'm Feferi Peixes and i don't think we have, even though we are in the same year, thought i am in Hufflepuff, so it would make sense on why we haven't really talked until now.

I bet she's quite independent already. It seems those of your lineage are like that.

She did spend a copious amount of time with us. Her mother can get fairly busy and leaving a young girl her age without companionship is a dreadful thing.

It's a pleasure. I suppose that they don't exactly block our Houses together in most of our classes, but I can make a better effort to try and catch you during passing periods and on our less busy days.

[She nods.] You are right, she is a Peixes down to the core, independence and ready to basically take on the world.

She is really lucky to have such a family, that really looks after her.

And i will make the effort as well to chat to you more! I would really love to get to know you Rose!

I don't know if the world is ready for her quite yet.

It is always fortunate to have a caring family. Many of us are privileged in that regard, yet we take it for granted.

I'll be around and perhaps we might have classes or at least the same teachers. We would still be able to talk about subjects, regardless, given that we're learning the same material almost.

I do agree, though i am unsure if the world will be ever ready for her.

That's very true, they are so many people out there who don't have such families, sometimes you do just have to step back and realize what you got.

That would be cool! i find studying to be easier if i get to discuss with other people, i am sure we have lots of opportunities to talk!!

They'll have to gear up their best grown-up pants and deal with it.

I'm sure someone must be setting up a study group. I think that would be a great idea, honestly! Everyone can swap information and help each other.
