WHEN: The day of September 2nd for the train, and at night for the feast!
WHERE: Hogwarts Express/Platform 9 3/4 and The Great Hall
WHAT: Gotta get back to Hogwarts! Back to witches and wizards and magical feasts! Students and teachers are finally heading back to school on the Hogwarts express, and with the new school year means sorting for the first years!
STATUS: Ongoing!
NOTE: There is a thread for the Train back to Hogwarts, and the Feast, with a subthread for the Sorting! First years can comment to be sorted, and everyone else can greet their new house mates/students!

[She ducks her head slightly to hide her embarrassment. A house seems to be rather important when entering Hogwarts, and she had barely given it much thought.]

I do not know. I was told that Grif-fin-dor is the best house. But I am not brave.

I think there are other qualities that could get you in there too. That's the house I want to be in.

I don't think there is. They all seem to have good qualities. It's just my family's been in Gryffindor, so I want to also.

Do you have family in Hogwarts now?

Yeah. The only family I really have.

No, my uncle and Dave.

Is your uncle a teacher?

Yeah. He's going to teach magical languages.

What are magical languages?

[Eeek. Do wizards speak in their own language? Was she going to have to learn a new one, on top of English?]

I'm not really sure what they sound like, but I know there's one like Troll and Mermish and Gobbledygook. I think they're mostly languages that some of the non-human beings speak?
