WHEN: The day of September 2nd for the train, and at night for the feast!
WHERE: Hogwarts Express/Platform 9 3/4 and The Great Hall
WHAT: Gotta get back to Hogwarts! Back to witches and wizards and magical feasts! Students and teachers are finally heading back to school on the Hogwarts express, and with the new school year means sorting for the first years!
STATUS: Ongoing!
NOTE: There is a thread for the Train back to Hogwarts, and the Feast, with a subthread for the Sorting! First years can comment to be sorted, and everyone else can greet their new house mates/students!

[Tony comes into the compartment, his head down as he seems to be doing something on his phone. Not even aware of Arthur's exsitance.]

And with that, I'm now out of range of anything remotely like a signal. At least I have it saved.

[Tony flops down on the bench in front of Bruce still absorbed in his phone for a moment before tossing it down next to himself in vague annoyance.]

Anyway, I'm thinking that I can probably alter the patornu-

[Tony looks up for the first time and see's Bruce. And Arthur. He looks at Arthur's face for a moment then let his eyes drop down onto Bruce's sleeping face in the Slythern's lap. His eyes slowly trade between both faces before settling on Arthur.]

'No intentions', huh? Before you can say; 'It's not what it looks like'. It looks like Big bad, there is getting very cosy with your crotch.

[His mouth strings out into a long smirk.]

And your fingers are in his hair. So, if that's not what this looks like... What is it?

[He keeps quiet while Tony talks, not that he can get a word in edgeways, and he's rather surprised at himself that he doesn't immediately turn beet red at the question.. and the insinuation. The boy frowns, but in the interests of not disturbing Bruce, still keeps up the light twitching of his thumb behind the sleeping teenager's ear]

I wasn't about to say anything of the kind. Bruce is tired, and for some reason is unconsciously insisting on this. I happen to be fond enough of him to not pitch him onto the floor, so here we are.

[Arthur keeps his voice low, and glances back out of the window]

If this is going to be a problem for you, Stark, the door is just over there.

[Bruce being Bruce doesn't react to the noise, and continues to sleep like the dead, completely relaxed, and will continue to do so until Arthur stops petting him.]

Insisting on it, huh?

[Tony looks at Bruce for a second then reaches for his phone, sounding disinterested as he flicks through something on his phone then looks back at Bruce again.]

That explains it.

[He stuffs his phone into his pocket.]

You don't have to talk like that. He's not going to hear anything short of... Well Fire crackers don't always work. But hey, if you like the whole petting thing, by all means keep it up.

[He goes back to looking over Bruce, feeling protective. Considering the time of the month.]

Wouldn't want to share with the class at all? Your bag seems heavy enough.

[Yup, Tony wants candy. However he doesn't look away from Bruce.]

It seems to bother him if I stop.

[It's out of habit that he's speaking more quietly than usual, and though he does lift the volume of his voice somewhat, he still maintains a level tone that he doesn't usually have. A quick glance is cast over at his bag when it's mentioned]

Oh, by all means. Knock yourself out.

[arrogantalloy]

Yeah well, it would.

[Sounds like he knows what he's talking about.]

Well I don't know if I plan on getting that extreme with your candy, there. But hey, I'll take 'a fair wack at it'.

[Tony Smirks as he comes over and digs about the bag and inspects it for something he wants.]

... Do me a favour, and never try to say that again.

[He's not fussy about sharing, so there's no objection to Tony's rummaging]

[Bruce's nose twitches when Tony moves close and he blindly reaches for the boy, fingers lightly gripping at his trouser leg when his hand bumps against a knee.]

Because the icon matches his end pose.

Just be glad I didn't say wack off, okay.

[If Tony was more childish, he'd have stuck his tongue out. Instead he opts to just give Arthur a smarmy grin as he pulls out a curly wirly and looks at it curiously.

His head barely shifts as he looks down at the hand attaching to his trouser leg.]

Hmm. Probably wearing too much body spray.

[Tony musses up Bruce's hair with one hand before flopping back onto his chair, leaving his leg where it is for Bruce to keep a hold of.]

[Arthur smirks in response, giving Bruce's head a light scritch between rubbing behind his ear and absently smoothing out the hair that's being mussed up by the action]

Blimey, he's one hell of a clinger isn't he.

[And a heavy sleeper. He's honestly surprised the boy hasn't woken up]

[MILDLY INAPPROPRIATE HAPPY NOISES ENSUE and Bruce nuzzles Arthur's leg again, fingers staying curling into Tony's pants. Neither of you boys are going anywhere.]

Yeah. When Bruce has you. He isn't really a fan of letting go.

[Tony starts to unwrap the curly wirly, looking at the sleeping teen as he makes the noise, but doesn't seem openly put off by it. After all, they share a dorm and a bed in NY.]

Waking him up isn't always a guarantee that he'll let go right away either. He has a long boot up process. And he can cling for ages before getting flustered and falling off the bed.

[He bites into the chocolate.]

Well this isn't bad.

[Arthur chuckles quietly and glances down at Bruce, shaking his head a little]

He seems the type. I don't think he was fully conscious when he decided my lap would make a good pillow.

[Best wake him a while before they get to the station, he thinks, to avoid any embarrassment. He'd rather not have to attempt to carry the other boy off the train because he's only half-conscious]

Muggle sweets aren't as interesting as ours, I'll say that, but they have their own appeal.

I've seen in sleep on weirder things than your lap, and he was conscious for that.

[Keeps eating the candy.]

Personally. I like the idea that I can buy something chocolate that isn't going to jump away from me or temporarily shoot sparks or turn bits of me pink. When it comes to candy, I like it sort of boring.
