WHERE: Hogwarts Express/Platform 9 3/4 and The Great Hall
WHAT: Gotta get back to Hogwarts! Back to witches and wizards and magical feasts! Students and teachers are finally heading back to school on the Hogwarts express, and with the new school year means sorting for the first years!
STATUS: Ongoing!
NOTE: There is a thread for the Train back to Hogwarts, and the Feast, with a subthread for the Sorting! First years can comment to be sorted, and everyone else can greet their new house mates/students!

[Whatever reaction Marshall was expecting for the hair tug, it probably wasn't a garbled sound, followed by Maxim invading what was left of his personal space] Hyu might not vants to do dot again. Jaeger hair iz... senzitiff to pullink.

[Normally Marshall would keep teasing but hey, school hasn't started yet so he'll be nice. He lets go, steps back a bit and gives a half smile.]
Well now...I'll be sure to keep that in mind then.

It's not. We moved around a lot so I usually just had tutors and stuff. Dumbledore was pretty cool about letting me in so late. I even got to come in early and get Sorted ahead of time. It would be pretty embarassing being the only person my age up there with all the firsties ya know?

So...what is there to do around Hogwarts anyways? I know there's a music club and I was going to join that for sure. What do people around here do for fun?

[Anything with legs, that's Maxim's motto. And speaking of flirting, while he's here in Marshall's personal space, don't mind if he just... casually leans over and sniffs at him. As discreetly as he can. which isn't very discreet at all.]

Well... Hy wrestle vit Thor? [He says that like he's kind of not sure about it, moving out of his "I'm totally not smelling you, what are you talking about?" stance. Mostly, he's not sure Marshall would appreciate it. Not many do. But his excitement picks right back up again within moments] Ve startink a fight club! Iz gonna be great! Vould be better if ve could bring veapons, but vhat ken hyu do, hey? [he shrugs]

Oddervize, iz schkool, yah? Not much elze to do, 'cept on Hogsmeade veekends.

[Marshall quirks an eyebrow but doesn't move. He just really hopes Maxim can just smell his bath products and doesn't have a super vampire-detecting nose or anything. Did vampires have a particular smell? He didn't think they would since they technically weren't alive.]

Wrestle with Thor...? I don't think I've met him yet.
[He's pretty sure he doesn't smell bad so Marshall doesn't care. But at the mention of a fight club he grins.]

A Fight Club? Like the movie? Aren't you violating the first rule by tellng me?

[Yeah, about that. Sorry Marshall, Jaegers have crazy good noses, even those that aren't werewolves. And even worse for you, he has relatives that are vampires, so he instantly recognizes the smell. It smells like dried blood. But don't worry, he's probably the only one who would notice.]

[And even better, he doesn't even react to it. No funny looks, no eyeballing, just carrying on the conversation like nothing happened]

Ho! Thor iz a tall, blond boy who iz built like a Norze god! Or at least, he vill be in a year or two. [He grins, waggling his eyebrows]

[Which promptly turns into starry-eyes as Marshall mentions the Fight Club movie. Do you like hugs, Marshall? Cuz you're getting tackled to the floor] HY T'OUGHT NO VUN VOULD EFFER GET IT!! YAH IZ 'ZECTLY LIKE DOT! Alzo, iz my club, Hy ken break all de rulez Hy vants.

Ah. So he's well named then huh.

[Oh SHI-..Marshall falls back right on his skinny ass. It doesn't hurt but it does surprise him and for a split second he almost goes fangy and hisses but he reigns it in and just decides to take the love.
Uh..yeah. I like movies. The book wasn't bad either.
[He leans up and in a low voice asks.]
So..I take it this isn't an officially school sanctioned club then?

Iz de best book Hy effer read! [He chirps, waving his arms in the air excitedly. Then pauses, glancing to the side sheepishly] Iz only book Hy effer read.

Oh really? You didn't read anything else by the author? I've heard his other stuff is good too. I..honestly only read the book of it after I saw the movie though.
[He leans in and lowers his voice]
So..if something bad did happen Bro would cover for us? That's pretty cool of him. I'm guessing it's still something you're keeping on the down low though right?
I wouldn't mind coming to watch but...[He gestures to his skinny frame.] I don't think I'd be much of a fighter.
